The staff is friendly, and my cat comes back shampooed, de-matted, and trimmed down. They're always very responsive to any specific grooming requests, and he comes back happy and unharmed, which isn't always the case with other groomers I've taken him to. The facility is small, but the price is frankly cheap for excellent work. They've also been able to get me in very quickly, and they're excellent at doing what they can to accommodate the client's needs involving dropping the pet off and picking it up. I highly recommend them.

We have indoor-only cats, and we hired Tammy for in-home pet sitting while we were away. We returned to discover one of our cats missing. When we still hadn't found him after a few hours, I called Tammy. She blithely told me that she hadn't seen him for four or five days, and because I told her that she didn't need to clean my second floor, she didn't even bother to look for him. My wife and I spent the next four days in a gut-wrenching panic. Every little sound and every blur of motion became an orange cat for just long enough to be heartbreaking. Every dead animal on the side of the road... It was awful. We tore both sides of our duplex apart, emptied our basement, purchased equipment to look into our walls and ducts, checked shelters, made flyers, and patrolled our neighborhood at all hours. We finally found our cat in a nearby overgrown lot, cowering in an abandoned storage trailer. When I called Tammy to talk about it, she demonstrated zero empathy, claimed to be utterly infallible, and made wild accusations, such as blaming my landlady (who was out of town at the time). Tammy even suggested that I'd made the whole thing up. She wasn't interested in documented evidence or that there were witnesses to his discovery/rescue. She insulted us, mocked our distress, and never once entertained the idea that she was in any way at fault for losing an animal whose absence she ignored (and neglected to mention) for days. There's so much more, like ignoring instructions or locking herself out of the house, but this review comes down to unapologetic negligence and the failure to do the only part of the job that really mattered: keeping my animals safe. In the interest of full disclosure, this was the second time I'd used Tammy. The first time around, I paid her several weeks late. She doesn't take plastic, and the nearest branch of my bank is in Syracuse, so I had a box of checks mailed to me specifically to pay her. By way of an apology for making her wait, I voluntarily overpaid that bill by $50.

People will have…read morenegative experiences wherever they go, and I can confidently say that I have never had any issues with Wags-n-Whiskers. The owner, Tammy, is kind, generous, flexible, and most importantly, she treats my pet like a part of her own family. It's so wonderful to have piece of mind that my dog is happy and taken care of while I'm at work. My dog actually seems to love Tammy more than she loves me! As soon as my dog sees Tammy's K9 van or hears her voice, she starts freaking out with joy until she sees Tammy and can jump in her arms. This is proof of how wonderful Tammy is to the animals she takes care of, as animals do not lie. Tammy takes such good care of my dog and is flexible with my hectic work schedule. She truly cares about animals and goes out of her way to provide good care. Her prices are also very reasonable, but to me you cannot put a price on quality pet care, which is what Tammy provides. I would be lost without her and am so grateful to have found her. Thank you Tammy for all that you do for me and Maya!

But, they were bonded and I really liked their website and credentials. So, I thought that I would try it. When Cindy came for the consultation, I knew that I had made a good choice. I felt so comfortable having her take care of my cats and, obviously, my house. She is absolutely lovely and very qualified. Plus, we discovered mutual acquaintances. (I think they take care of everyone's pets in the area!) First, they give you an in-depth consultation to review all the needs of your pets before you go away. This is great! They even asked questions I didn't think to tell them. Then, while you are away, they really do a great job with your pets. One of ours is a little tricky and requires medicine. This was no problem at all. You get pictures while you are away. (This is nice!) If there are any difficulties, even minor, you get a call or message. I don't trust people at all and I trust them. I can't say enough good things!
