There is a counter for ordering eat-in or take-away. The menu is in German, but there is also a menu in English for us..."non-fluent in Germen language folks". In this way, the ordering line can move faster because the staff do not need to spend a lot of time translating the menu to patrons. There is a separate counter for ordering delicious-looking desserts. There is seating on the street level and upstairs in another dining area. Once you order the food, you take a seat at a table (depending upon the time of day, it might be difficult to find a seat) and your food is brought to you. My positive experience was further augmented by my wonderful companions and the delectable food.
