However, the experience was a nightmare from start to finish. The technician was clearly unprepared; she didn't have the matching acrylic color, her tools were in poor condition, and she kept having to borrow tools from other staff. The quality of the work was shocking. She cut my natural nails unevenly and actually sliced one of them so short that she had to glue a fake tip on it to make it match--completely defeating the purpose of an overlay on my real nails. After two hours, the result was awful. The nails were filed sideways/crooked, very thick, and the acrylic was flooded onto my cuticles. I spoke to the manager because I was afraid to let them continue damaging my nails. While they offered to fix it the next day, I canceled because I didn't trust them to touch my hands again. To make matters worse, when I spoke to them the following day, they claimed they 'don't do acrylics' there--a blatant lie considering their website ads and my booking confirmation. By Tuesday, three nails had already chipped and peeled off. A dip manicure should last weeks, not a few days. This is not "wear and tear." This is poor prep, poor application, and poor sealing -- a total failure of the service. I called and requested a refund, which is the only reasonable response when a manicure fails this fast. I was told to come back in for repairs. I explained that I was out of town for work and physically could not return. I asked again for a refund. I was then told Yani would call me. That call never happened. So instead of: * Standing behind their work * Honoring a refund for a clearly defective service * Or even following through on a promised call They chose to ignore the problem. I've attached photo evidence so there is no confusion. Multiple nails are lifting, peeling, bubbliand chipped just days after the appointment. Any experienced nail tech knows this is unacceptable for dip. What's worse than the bad manicure is the complete lack of integrity and accountability afterward.
