DELICIOUS TIFFIN CHOW!…read more For being in the small town of Tiffin, Ohio, a REALLY FAR rock throw away from Ohio's big city hustle & bustle of Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati or Toledo, Paulette's brings the country charm with tasty home cookin'! Not many mom & pop eats for brekkie in this college town, so let's sample the goods here! Yelp Directions are on point, with a small parking lot to rest the transport. Place was hopping this Saturday morning, with lots of locals filling the tables up! MUST be better than the 3* yelp rating with all this action going on!!! We even had to wait 15-20 min to get a table to empty before we could sit down. Super friendly staff, very clean inside. Lots of options for eats during breakfast... Let's get our chow on! #7 CORNED BEEF, EGGS, TOAST: It's actually Corned Beef HASH so even better! Cook adeptly honored our request to brown it up a bit to have a nice crunch to it, which it was, perfectly! Compliments to the Chef! Ample serving too! Yay! Eggs were asked to be over medium and they arrived just as ordered, with Just enough "runny-ness." Add some golden toasted bread and this makes a really comforting start to our morning! CRUNCHY FRENCH TOAST with MEAT CHOICE: Whatever makes this creation crunchy, IT IS PERFECT! This texture is ABSOLUTELY what French Toast needs to make me enjoy it. And I found it in TIFFIN, OH of all places! 4 Triangles only needed a touch of syrup to sweeten the deal. DEEE-LICIOUS! Added some sausage links and golden crispy home style potatoes. Great Breakfast meal! GRILLED CHEESE BACON BURGER on TEXAS TOAST: College Kid was eyeing this baby from the get go! And it did not disappoint!!! Cheese component was ooey gooey, bacon was not too crispy ( which he prefers), and the thick burger patty came out over medium, as requested! Ample serving of crinkle fries to enjoy and share. The Kid was pleasantly satisfied! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! Nom Nom Level is HIGH! That 3* yelp rating is REALLY deceiving!! We came in not expecting much, yet departed happily fulfilled to start the day! ALL the menu items we sampled were a delight to the taste buds and the staff were attentive and friendly. Don't let yelp rating scare you, Paulette's is absolutely worth visiting! Enjoy :)

The service was friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food was excellent. The hot and sour soup is one of the best we've ever had. The garlic chicken was made with big slices of chicken breast, very fresh vegetables, and a delicious savory, slightly sweet and slightly spicy, sauce. The chicken with mixed vegetables also had big slices of perfectly cooked chicken breast, lots of wonderful vegetables, and a tasty savory brown sauce. We ended up ordering more hot and sour soup to take home with our leftovers and also an order of their yummy sugar coated donuts. We'll be making the drive to Tiffin often just for this wonderful restaurant!

Fried pork dumplings, a 3.5 because some are more dough than meat but flavor is good. We sat down and ate there eventhough all of the guests ordered takeout. The restaurant is spacious but it's just a place to eat at. Nothing fancy. Pretty much help yourself. The food was hot and fresh which we were impressed with. We enjoyed the meal. It turned out great since we had to get to the outdoor concert that was about to begin. We were glad the food came out quickly and we ate it in no time.

The portion size/price ratio is phenomenal! I paid less than $15 for all food shown. The orange chicken/friend rice combo was very underwhelming. Fried rice is bland and the only this making it "fried rice" is soy sauce and very very very minimal egg... no other additives. Orange chicken is super soft and has tons of sauce but unfortunately it does not taste like orange chicken. I cannot explain what it tastes like but it is not bad. The grab Rangoons are very delicious! Loaded with cream cheese, crab, and chives. They are quite large. Overall this was a pretty good experience and I would order here again.

Not sure what the difference is between lunch and dinner special besides the price increase. My husband and I shared a dish, we upgraded to the fried rice. There's not a stick of vegetable or even the faintest taste of meat in the fried rice. It's literally their white rice thrown in a wok. There was very little chicken in the dish, and despite it being "spicy "it has literally no spice I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness. If you're going to have fake flowers all over, at least dust them! It's a little concerning to sit eating a meal, looking at an inch thick dust on all of the plants.
