Seriously though, this facility is so nice. I was so tired of boarding my horse in places that resembled stock yards where everyone was competitive and ornery. Here it feels good and welcoming. The area is beautiful, easy to access, and has miles of trails right from the barn. Oh also, they have a wonderful tack room with individual lockers for all my stuff. (Horse's are like babies - they have a lot of stuff.)

I do think that the advertisement for 'all levels' of lessons is tailored more towards children. The adults I saw taking lessons seemed much more advanced. I had ridden on and off for years, and wanted to get back to basics because I lacked any real knowledge of appropriate technique. I was also interested in the emphasis on dressage because roughly speaking, it's about moving with the horse and using your body more than the reins. The acutal lessons itself made it clear how knowledgable the trainers were. However, every other aspect of the experience was negative. The indoor ring was busy with multiple lessons occuring at once and people tacking up the horses while trying to give appropriate space in close quarters, which is where I felt the most ill at ease. I was new to the space and the personaliity of the horses, and I didn't want to do anything incorrectly by spooking a horse or interrupting a lesson with a question. I felt like a nusience and a waste of their time. Other people seemed to be treated with more patience (like the parents of the children taking lessons and lobbying for their child to be put on a certain horse), but for some reason, it felt like I couldn't do anything right. I was there to learn and it was discouraging since I would drive 40 miles round trip for each lesson.

When we first got our black horse he was very under weight and horse lovers haven had helped us get him back to a great weight. The owner very clearly cares about our horses. She will listen to you and help to get your horses the best care they need. She has this place purely for the joy and passion of horses. I love that they have several turn outs and an indoor arena, most places only have an outdoor. Their head trainer Bethany has 100% transformed my horses under saddle, and transformed our riding making riding an awesome experience for us all. Thanks horse lovers haven!

There is no drama! The barn has an inside arena, an outside arena, several turn-out pens (which are big!), round pen. What's also great is the the invites to ride trails with other boarders and Dee (owner). There are rules here which are enforced. This is necessary because there are around something like 80 horses here. Following the rules ensures the barn stays safe and clean. I appreciate this very much. There are different ages and riding styles all over here at the barn. I love being around such a diverse clientele and learning more and more about horses. Even if it's a little drive for me. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and gave me the options for lessons so I figured I'd go check it out when I wasn't super busy - I was excited. I wanted to take a look so I drove by - the property isn't gated or fenced so easy to go right in. There were lots of horses tied up at a barn and kids brushing them out. So cute to see!!! I parked and figured I'd wander around a few minutes before the lessons started. It's really cool that they had 2 arenas and a barn. There were lots of pens containing horses that are big by barn standards. That's where the good experience ended. I saw so many dirty pens, really skinny horses with hips and ribs poking out, near empty water troughs and one horse looked like it had abscesses or something with puss coming out of it's face. Oh my heck! My heart just broke. Some of the horses the kids were taking care of looked happy, but some were just so sad and skinny I can't imagine them not hurting when they had all that weight on them. When I was looking at options for riding lessons for my daughter I was so excited to find this one, but when I got to the property and looked at their horses I was so upset I just left. It's been so heavy on my heart if I should post a review or not, but I just can't get those horses looking skinny and so sick with hardly any water out of my head.

Major discrimination goes on at this facility. Because of these rumors my daughter was not allowed any access ro her horse for days. This was her emotional support animal and the owner denied us access numerous times. The locks combination would change without notice numerous times and she would refuse to give us the combination even though we were paid, more discrimination. DON'T BOARD HERE!
