DISAPPOINTED & UPSET. $67 for a trim. After being referred to their salon and hearing how awesome…read moreClayton is, I made an appointment with Jessica. Clayton did not have an appointment opening, so, I made my appointment with Jessica and waited a month to go get my haircut by her. I was excited and WAS looking forward to a new style. I asked for an "easy style and fresh cut" that "would allow me less time to fix" each day! I even showed her pictures of how I wanted the back to flip out at the bottom straight across the back of my hair. My hair was shoulder length and when I got there and it was mid neck like a bob, when I left and I looked like she placed a cereal bowl on top of my head and went around it with a pair of scissors. The back did NOT flip out like an Aline haircut. I showed her (in the pictures on my iPhone, of my own haircuts years past, (when I had my haircut to flip out at the bottom in the back). When she got finished cutting it, it was turned under with a roller brush while using dryer. Also, not what I wanted. After waiting for three years for my hair just to grow shoulder length, and struggling to condition it myself at home, for almost a year and a half, to get it in shape for highlight and lowlight at a later time, I decided to just get a good cut first. I went into their salon for a new choppy cut. ONLY, I left there not knowing, that I would get home with an UNMANAGEABLE haircut. She knew exactly how to style it, to cover up all uneven places, all over my head. It was not even shaped right. It was not what I asked for and it was not what I wanted. The haircut did not suit me and did not even look like me. I wanted to leave there with a fresh "choppy cut", so that my hair would look thicker. I needed something simple yet classy. I specifically stated I did NOT want short hair again because I'd been growing it out for 2 years. I did NOT ask for layers. She convinced me to get a few small layers throughout my hairline, and I said ok but asked her "do not cut my length of"! I left with hair short & unmanageable. I also began my visit, by asking her to NOT use a razor when cutting my hair. Instead, at end of my haircut, a razor WAS USED on both sides of face (hairline); she started at the top by my eyebrow and went all the way down past my chin on both sides of my face, with a razor so now the way it was cut, makes it 'fly away in wind. The tiny thin hairs around my eyes and cheeks are now falling right in my eyes every day (months later)...making it very difficult to manage or style with a brush or comb (or even a flat iron)! Will NOT EVER go back. I already had to go to another salon and every time he pulled my hair up with a comb in a different direction to see the way that she might have cut my hair....He explained to me that my "hair was not cut in any style he ever saw" and "with no shape at all", and there were no "layers" cut in my hair; he claimed that it was "all different lengths" with the sides of my hair, very much shorter than the back, which is not what I wanted at all. ALL of my hair was one length when I went in there. When I left there, it was styled well but the cut has made my life very difficult. Why would it be cut that way??? I have struggled to fix my hair every single day, while taking care of my terminally, ill mother and also going to physical therapy from injuries I sustained in a serious car accident that happened a year ago. I've had 3 surgeries in the last year and needed someone to cut my hair, in a way that would be 'easy for me to manage'. The only reason that I went all the way across town to their salon (downtown) and paid a high price (for her to cut my hair), was so that I could have a better hairstyle.......not look like a five year old cut it. I am clearly disappointed and very upset, that she did this to my hair. She knew how to STYLE it (with her Dyson dryer) to cover up the the unfixable cut. I was mistakenly pleased at first not realizing the cut was all over the place. In fact, when she turned me around in the mirror to see it, I thought It looked nice (so I gave her a $10 tip and left). However, when I got home and washed it and tried to fix it the next day, the lengths of my hair were not even combing without getting stuck in comb. It was very short around my eyes and cheeks which is what I Specifically said I did NOT want, and it was unbearably unmanageable. I know they have some excellent reviews at their salon because I read a bunch of them before I ever even went to their salon and I was referred there by a friend of mine that actually got a good cut by a different stylist in that salon. Sorry to say this, but my experience was not the same.

Hi, I have only been…read morein Arkansas for 6/7 months and couldn't find a trustworthy place to get my hair cut. I admit I'm not the salon type, so the idea only hit me by desperation. I saw great reviews for Clayton so I went there. You're supposed to have an appointment, and I will from now on, but I walked in there without one. Clayton squeezed me in, and did a super job. I'm proud of myself for upgrading. I can't imagine going to a super cuts type place again. Not only is Clayton a cool dude who knows his craft, but his salon is decorated with modern style. I forgot I was in Arkansas. Obviously I highly recommend. If you ignore your own looks, everyone else will too. ~Don
