UNRESPONSIVE COMPANY!!! I placed an order with my home warranty company for a repair to my washing machine. VIP Appliance was assigned as the contractor and has never called me to set an appointment. I called the company myself and no answer so I left a voicemail that I have a needed repair and all the information...never received a call back. Came online to look at reviews and SO GLAD I did as I immediately called my home warranty company this morning and asked for a new company to be assigned to my work order and of course when my warranty company tried to reach out no answer and after I explained the reviews this company has recieved and that I would not be comfortable with a questionable company and employees being in my home to only do bad work (from reviews left) they have now assigned a new comany to come out to complete the repair! read more

Mike has come to fix two separate appliances for us, on two separate occasions. He has gone above and beyond to troubleshoot the issues and does so with professionalism. He takes the time to inform you of the issue and explain in a way you can actually understand and then gets the job done. It's nice to have a repairman you can trust. read more

Mike is so communicative and responsive. We had an issue with our washing machine that couldn't be fixed and he never charged me for the many hours he spent fixing it. He came out multiple times to look at things for me and was always willing to try to fix it. He even spent a full two days on the weekend building our sauna. Highly recommend! read more

We used theme because of our home warranty assigned them. They came the first time but did not repair our dishwasher. I attempted to contact them to come back out. Followed the appliance repair warranty policy. They didn't come back out. After leaving several voicemails (they didn't answer a single phone call) and texting them they didn't respond until I told them I would be letting the warranty company know the poor service I received. They then responded with this text message. "I'm sorry but they won't remove me from their list. Threats don't work with me. However, gentle pressure does. If I were you, I would go ahead and let them know exactly what you stated in your text, and see if that works. Go ahead and use your power to get me removed from first Americans list and let them know what an unreliable servicer I am: thanks." I still don't have a working dishwasher. I would never recommend this company. read more

Where to start, at the beginning. I wait for a week for VIP Appliance to call me to set up an appt. Per direction of my home warranty company. I finally call and he flat out says he won't call. The warranty company is supposed to tell you that. Why would the home warranty company change their policy because of one little business in OK. Answer is. They wouldn't. When the appointment day finally arrives I get a phone call that morning asking for directions. I told him to follow google, maps, whatever gps mapping service he uses. He complains about getting lost and having to drive so far out of the way. He's the first person in my 10 years here at this residence that has had an issue finding us. I end up sharing my location with him just so that he would come fix my freezer. He arrives and starts diagnosing. He notices no vibrations as if the motor/compressor isn't running at all. He calls another guy and talks to him via speaker phone, tells him everything he finds. No vibrations, no internal fan powering on, said it was warm. Dude on phone immediately responds with not cold needs Freon. We can't do it it's a sealed system. The guy continues to say can it be this, or that. Phone dude was relentless, saying it needed Freon. While I'm not the brightest crayola in the box, I know Freon has nothing to do with power, or switching on. Dude in my garage flat out asked the dude if it could be the start switch. Guess what folks, it was the start switch. Sears appliance repair, the company the warranty company sent out after the first failure, diagnosed it within 5 minutes didn't even make mention of Freon. Guy that came to us, didn't have an issue finding the house, and presented himself in a professional manner. Like he knew personal hygiene. read more

Totally unprofessional and completely ghosted us on the appointment we had. Took a full day off waiting for him, never showed up, never called, wouldn't return any of my texts or messages. Avoid this company. read more

I am so happy with the service I received from VIP. Mike explained everything to us in regard to our refrigerator issue. We really appreciate that he took the time to inform us and let us know he would need to order a part and return. VIP called and scheduled to return as soon as they received the part. Great experience. Highly recommend. read more

Again submitting. Last submission was deleted! Tech was hired by warranty company. He came out, fixed a seal but broke a fitting causing damage to motor. Tech would not admit it. Motor is now not covered due to his damage. Tech no-showed x 3 for sched work. "Mike" stated his employee is "honest" & has broken things before but admitted to it. I was told by Mike "will call you back after 5pm after take my daughter to cheerleading practice" NO CALL DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. IF WARRANTY WORK, REFUSE & DEMAND WARRANTY COMPANY SEND ANOTHER TECH. THEY ARE DISHONEST. read more

Went through a home warranty company. They accepted it, and took a month to come out to diagnose the problem (after multiple reschedules). When he came to fix it he broke off a piece and "made it work". Told me if I have any issue he would come back and take care of it. When my microwave went out again, I had to pay another service fee for him to come back out for him to remember that he broke it. Now after 2 weeks and multiple texts and voicemails he is still ignoring our calls. Extremely unprofessional, I would not use this company. read more

Had over repaired, started doing the same thing again in 2 weeks. Would not come fix it. Rude and unprofessional. Would NOT recommend. Used profanity and hung up on me. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were assigned VIP through our home warranty to fix or replace our dishwasher. They came out twice to "fix" our issue and neither visit solved our problem as the dishwasher still would not work. After scheduling the 3rd visit, the technician (Mike) never showed up for the appointment. When attempting to reschedule his missed appointment, we were told that our next appointment was scheduled without our consent on a date and time that we could not make. We were then completely ghosted by them when trying to let them know that this date/time would not work for us. The technician (Mike) then proceeded to arrive at this set time that we notified them via text and 2 voicemails would not work for us. VIP even took it a step further and notified our home warranty company that we had "missed our scheduled appointment" and that our claim had been closed because of this. I quickly set the record straight with our home warranty company that we had been trying to communicate with VIP but we have had no luck getting ahold of them. We requested to no longer use them going forward and I made to sure to recommend to our warranty company, as well as all of you reading this to stay far away from VIP Appliance. read more

I have a home warranty that assigned this company to fix my washer/dryer - it took a while to schedule the initial appointment, and when they did come you can tell they had no idea what they were doing - listening in on the conversation I kept hearing how they've never seen something like this before, questioning what motor does what, etc. but I wanted to give them a chance and was nice and understanding, since they did at least figure out what the problem was and ordered the part that was needed. Well when they came back to put in the new part, they left a mess and even left the lint trap INSIDE the machine, so we had to open it ourselves to get it out. Then the dryer belt seemed to have been installed incorrectly, because it snapped, but they at least came back to fix it about a week after I called (although it was a bit difficult to get a response from them). When we tried using the dryer again, this time there was a loud thumping noise, and then it suddenly made an even louder noise and stopped rotating altogether. Well it turns out when they put the dryer barrel back in, they didn't screw it in correctly, so it came off the bearing. At this point it's been 2 months of not being able to use my dryer, so I called it quits with them and had my dad take a look - and he fixed it! Don't use this company if you can avoid them, relatively decent people, but their skill set and professionalism are extremely lacking. read more

Allow me to add to my previous review, just so the people know what they are getting if they are unlucky enough to hire this dreadful company. I have a family of 4, without a washer for weeks because they can't figure out how to keep an appointment. Because I expressed my frustration with them they decided to just punt in the middle of a repair. I actually heard Chelsey tell the tech "just tell him to contact his warranty company and have it reassigned because we don't want to fix it". Seriously, this guy "Mike" is an egomaniac and has no idea what he is doing. Just all around trash service. Roll those dice if you want but don't say you haven't been warned. Star far away from these people. read more

Terrible, unreliable company. I returned from vacation early to keep this appointment. to have my clothes dryer fixed. I waited all day just to be told the technician had a baseball game at three but would be here after the game. At 6:00 pm I get another call to say "it's not going to happen today." "Michael" has family things. And tomorrow's schedule has already been made so that's out too. At this point I was exasperated. I said I needed it done as soon as possible. At that point, the "family owned company" refused to service my dryer because of my "bad attitude ". must be an independently wealthy family company to be able to work only when it suits Michael. read more

They came out and diagnosed the issue with my cooktop and said they would order the part and be back within a week. A week went by and nothing. I called and found out the part was on backorder. Another week and half go by and I still hear nothing. I continuously had to contact them to get updates. It took over a month to finally get it fixed. A week later the cooktop was doing the same thing. I contacted them and sent them video of the issue and the refuse to respond or come back and correct it. its been over another month since the issue returned and they could care less read more

WORST COMPANY EVER. Old Republic Home Warranty hired VIP appliance (NOT A POOL COMPANY). VIP sent a moron named Pat out to fix my pool and he somehow blew the plumbing apart coming out of my pump. I walked outside and this 1/2 a star tool kit was standing soaking wet looking like a complete idiot shrugging his shoulders saying he doesn't know what happened. I immediately called Old Republic and demanded they send out GossBoss Pools (whom I always use and does phenomenal work) and they had everything fixed by the next day. DO NOT let Old Republic send VIP or (Very Incompetent People) to your home for anything. Old Republic should be ashamed to have their name involved with such a disaster. If they do not get rid of this company I will not renew my home warranty with them. AWEFUL TERRIBLE DISGUSTING Experience. I am appalled read more

Beware of this company. I have a home warranty company that sent them out. I had 3 appliances that needed to be fixed. A dishwasher, a stove, and a washer. The company said that it would put it in for a replacement through the warranty company, The dishwasher not draining, was told that it needs a loop in the hose. The washer they replaced the clutch. However, none of the items was actually fix, the dishwasher needs a part for the arm and when replacing broke the other part and still waiting for it to be installed. Was told they would be out today, but I called and crickets. I had another company come out with the washer and they told me that everything checked out and to run vinegar in tub and I used afresh to clean it out which fixed the issue. With the dishwasher, the tech turned off electric to the switch and unhooked the dishwasher. It has been a month and still not fixed. Can't just call the warranty place and resend tech out since VIP says part is in just needs installed. I would recommend staying far away from this nightmare of a company. This company deserves no stars but in order to submit I had to put 1 star. Worst then a 1-star company. NO STARS MEAN horrible. read more

Very nice people with great communication and diligence. We had multiple issues with our dishwasher and it took a couple trips to get it fixed but they got it figured out and fixed. The only reason it took multiple trips is because we weren't aware it needed as much work as it did. Thank you VIP Appliance! read more

This company doesn't even deserve 1 star!! Very poor communication and customer service! I had to go through my home warranty comp to get my pool and spa fixed. Starting in March 2022, it is now the end of June 2022 neither is fixed. First it took a couple of weeks to have anyone call, first time NO SHOWED, another week when they finally did come out, the tech took all the info on the spa and pool. Parts ordered, 1 month later they come out, put the part in for the spa, then find another issue said he will have find this part.. Ok fine, pool part was wrong said they sent the wrong part. 2 weeks later crickets. I tried to call and text the owner several times NO response!! Had to call the warranty company to find out that the tech quit, so instead of calling me and let me know he closed the ticket. 2 weeks now still not call from this guy. DO NOT USE THEM!! NOT EVEN BBB ACCREDITED!!! read more

guy came out and told us one thing then told the warranty company something different causing the claim to be denied. Dont do business with them and if a warranty company assigns them cancel and request someone else. read more

Fixed initial problem with dryer but failed to come back to clean dryer exhaust duct as promised and pre-paid for!

This company was hired by my home warranty company to fix 2 different problems. The first job was a pool pump/filter repair, they sent the guy out to assess and he tells me they can fix it no problem, then goes back to the office and dropped the claim because he said he didn't have part numbers (even thought they were clearly on the side of the pump), but nobody notified me, they just didnt report back. Then my warranty company hired them again to fix a drywall issue, for some reason they sent the same guy out... I guess he's a "pool specialist " and a "drywall specialist " but he came in and completely destroyed my wall, I Immediately contacted the warranty company, they reached out to the owner and he called me wanting to know what the issue was, I explained then showed him pictures of this guys work. The owner replies "yeah he could have done a better job" and said he'd get back with me to come fix his guys work... I texted and reached out and no reply! I would not recommend this company they do not stand behind their work and people who apparently have no real experience in anything it doesn't seem. I am now out hundreds of dollars to fix my wall and the trim their guy destroyed. read more
