Don't get me wrong - this is kind of one of those areas where everything is a little bit of a tourist trap and as a tourist, you just kind of have to go with it. They have lots of very beautifully arranged bins of sweets - lots of gunny type things and some chocolate. You're offered a bag and everything is the same price, priced by weight. The men in the store were pleasant but also a tiny bit pushy. Here, have a bag, please come in, here, have a bag. But they do know what they are doing. The candy was good - fine and tasty and sugary. But we did feel like we paid a lot of money for what we got - especially when compared to stands that sell a similar assortment of goodies in other European countries we've visited. So I guess I'd say if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth it's a fine stop. But try to show some restraint otherwise you'll have a nasty surprise at the register!

They did have a wide variety of gummy candy, sour candy, chocolate candy, as well as large lollipops, and suckers. I got two marshmallow fruit candies and they were $10 total. Which I think was actually really high for what it was considering it was very stale and hurt my teeth when I bit into it. Some people like harder candy but to each their own. If they actually had fresh candy that wouldn't be a bad place but I think it's one of those chains so I understand why they didn't put a lot of effort into it.

There are lots of big kind of "selfie moment" things throughout the store, and I will admit... I took a bunch of fun selfies! They are very inviting! The place was mobbed of course but I saw a decent number of staff people around to help, and I appreciated there was even a little cafe for weary parents to rest and have a place to park. It was busy as hell but really fun to walk around. They even have a carousel!
