The magnificence of foreign European meat to a New Yorkah. I believe you can order by the pound like I did, not sure by the piece. I don't recall if they took my Euros but I paid in Crowns.
Depending on the time the line is usually 5-6 long or only 1-2 people. But they keep coming one after another when done being served. What's so great about a butcher shop to an American? Well, it's not American meat, it's Czech meat. I ordered one of the sausages amongst one item that isn't available everywhere and a specialty to Czech, straight old school grandma in farm life sausage. It was really good. Had to cook it up though. Most the food is raw.
The older lady taking my order spoke no English. It's the point and describe with sign language the best you can sort of thing.
There's two sections to order, straight ahead or enter and to the right.
