Not only did she redo my extensions beautifully, but she also colored and trimmed my hair! She made sure I was happy with the results, and my hair looks and feels amazing. I would absolutely recommend the Station Salon, the owner, and her team. They handled an uncomfortable situation with professionalism, kindness, and integrity. They did the right thing to make sure I felt heard, cared for, and satisfied. What impressed me most was how she took so much out of her day, with no advanced notice, to make me leave happy and confident. She went above and beyond to make things right, and that level of professionalism and customer care is hard to come by. The entire experience turned so positive because of her kindness, skill, and integrity. I really appreciated that since most hair stylists would fry your hair and take your money and not care. Lynn told me I have thick and beautiful hair, so she didn't want to ruin it with chemicals if my hair wasn't strong enough to manage it. The last three times I tried to book, my stylist was unavailable the day of due to internal errors and turnover. Second, I paid specifically for the owner this most recent time, yet most of the work was done by assistants (teenagers and college students). To make matters worse, the salon was unbearably hot- no AC while sitting in foils for hours- I've literally NEVER experienced this at a professional salon. After three hours, my formerly brown hair looked nothing like the reference photo (lighter blonde). They offered to redo it -again with an assistant- but still charged for additional highlights, bringing my total to over $500 (despite being quoted $200-$300 with no notice about the price difference until I was checking out). What made me decide to write this review, however, was an off-putting comment from the owner. After a young girl came in with her father for a quote, the owner laughed about how expensive it would be because she "had dark thick Mexican hair." The assumption, tone, and laughter were unprofessional at best and offensive at worst. I ended up going to Headlines to have my hair corrected and had a fantastic experience there. What I experienced at the hands of Steve and his staff was an absolute nightmare that resulted in severe chemical burns, leaving my hair completely fried and feeling like wire. Looking back, I deeply regret ignoring the initial red flags. Steve spent most of the appointment on his phone while he worked. Because I always try to see the good in people and give them the benefit of the doubt, I stayed in the chair. It completely backfired, and I am deeply disappointed. The lack of professionalism and basic competence from the entire team was shocking. After the first round of bleaching, his assistant rinsed my hair and brought me back to the station. Steve proceeded to aggressively brush my hair. As entire clumps of my hair were actively falling out, he looked at me and falsely claimed, "it's totally normal." He then stated he was going to bleach a remaining dark band of color, but instead, I watched him and his assistant blindly redo the entire strand. I trusted his judgment simply because he is supposed to be the "professional." The mistakes only escalated during the toner application, which was handled by his two assistants. They acted like silent, unengaging robots, completely ignoring me throughout the process. They entirely missed the bottom section of my neck, leaving terrible, uneven splotches throughout my hair. Furthermore, I explicitly instructed them not to put toner on my natural greys. They completely ignored my request, leaving an extremely noticeable, botched patch on the side of my head. When I pointed it out, they casually brushed it off and told me it would "eventually fade." The absolute breaking point was the blowout. Steve and two of his assistants began blow-drying my hair. As the assistants yanked aggressively on my severely compromised strands, smoke literally began rising from my head. Seeing the smoke, the botched toner, the splotches, and the sheer extent of the chemical destruction, I told them to STOP and burst into tears right there in the chair. This is not a professional crew. If Steve could not handle the technical challenge of working on my hair, it would have been perfectly acceptable for him to just say no. why would a team of "professionals "would treat my hair with such complete disregard. Steve fully acknowledged the severity of the damage by refunding my deposit, waiving the service fee, and even offering to pay for hair extensions. But why would I even accept him paying for extensions? My hair was long, healthy when I walked into his salon; I didn't need extensions before he ruined it. Furthermore, I wouldn't trust anyone he knows to touch my hair. While I recognize he knew he was in the wrong, a refund and an offer for extensions do not change the fact that my hair is destroyed. He asked for an opportunity to "fix it," but the trust is entirely gone; there will absolutely not be a second chance. This entire experience was easily one of the worst days of my life. I am an emotional wreck every single time I look in the mirror. My friends and family have looked at his Instagram page and are completely disgusted by what he did to me. Because of their incompetence, I have already been forced to chop my hair off and spend $875.00 out of pocket on specialized repair products just to salvage what is left. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy there. Buyer beware. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

I went for the appointment figuring the cost would be the typical $60 to $80 rate. Wendy charged me an outrageous $190 FOR A SIMPLE ROOTS TOUCH UP & BLOW DRY! No haircut involved. As she told me the price she said, "no need to add a gratuity, it's included in the price. SHE JUST ADDED IN A TIP FOR HERSELF WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! Who does that? It's so unprofessional, unethical and scammy! Her cost was already appallingly over the top for a simple roots job! Why does she think she deserves a tip on top of that? I should never have paid that inflated amount. I called Wendy Wendy when I got home to ask if she could give me some credit back for the overcharge. She said she'd consider it and call me back.
