Music is such a big part of my life. I don't think I ever go through a day without listening to a track or record. I love to listen to the beats, the pick up of tempos, the counts, and the lyrics of songs that I listen to. I love world music, jazz, funk, rnb, house, soul, pop, disco, electro, alternative, and many other genres. There is so much meaning to the ubiquitous language of music and I don't think I can ever live without it! Today, its so easy to download or stream music. The advancements in technology have made almost everything instantaneous. As cool and good as that may sound, I also still like to put an actual vinyl record on and hear the "texture" of sound that is played through a vinyl record player. There's such a deep sense of nostalgia that I look for and it just calms me down and takes me to another place. Vinyl Dump Thrift Store is a cool place to hunt for old school and vintage records, they have so many different second hand and rare collections sold at such affordable prices that one would be so tempted to hoard and collect so many records! (BE STILL MY HEART!!) The cool thing too is that you can buy restored vinyl players or get yours tuned up for a price. Its definitely a treasure to be found in the Metro especially for collectors and music lovers! read more
