If price isn't a concern, they may be a good option, but for me, the cost was far beyond reasonable compared to other providers

Trustworthy and communicates well. Miguel kept us updated on the daily processes and progress. We watched the process and let me tell you my deck is more than what I imagined. It is beautiful and relaxing and solid. I have never seen any contractor out here, take the extra steps to make sure a deck did not rot away and was level. He was responsive to all of our questions and requests, his bid was less than 80% of the other contractors, and finished the job a week early and under budget. We added a bathroom & bedroom to the first floor for my father and could not believe how great the job turned out. His crew/subs were here early or on time, not one mess was left behind every single day, and would personally go over what was completed and asked for input at the end of each week. We were gone one day when the extremely expensive tile we picked out and bought for the bathroom but he sent his tile subcontractor to another job because when he started the tile it didn't look good to him in terms of color and size. He left a voicemail, text and email, all with photos and we were so happy he had stopped the tile from being installed. He also saw how much we paid for the tile and suggested an alternate tile that was more than half the price for both the tile and labor due to the size of the tile. I looked at the review left by another person who had used them for another job and I'm having a hard time believing what she had to say. BTW, Miguel, the partner/contractor only recently completed this work for us has a great reputation for the work he has completed on every job out here in California. We checked with the people he listed as references and even visited with a family he had worked with and got to look at the work completed and got to ask questions about his work. Nick came out to do an inspection, and in the process of doing so discovered some issues with our pipes and vents on the roof, some items that pictures made clear could quickly lead to serious damage if the wrong winds/rain came through. He showed us a detailed video of the inspection, then offered multiple quotes based on what approach we wanted to take. I appreciated how thorough and how efficient he was-- I've been in situations where at this point in the review an agent for a major company will only offer you the highest possible quotes and make them sound like an emergency and basically take as long as they can in your house to wear you down in hopes that you'll agree to the sell. Nick and Mr. Goodroof did NOT do this and this instantly won us over. We actually opted for a combination of two of the quotes/plans of action he presented, and he worked up a new quote for that. They offered a variety of payment options, including a 12 months same as cash option that you can apply for and access on your phone quickly. We scheduled the service and they had a crew out in less than a week to get the job done. They worked quickly and efficiently. There was some miscommunication on the quotes, plan of action, and updated responses (like the finished report detailing the work done, particularly important for us as the day of the work the approach shifted somewhat and we just wanted to understand why). We never doubted the quality of the work, but due to being burned in the past by other companies, had some reservations. We voiced those complaints and Nick + others at the company got back to us to go over and explain the situation. They explained the reason for the changes, the delayed updates (some due to automation processes on billing etc.), and sent out the crew + Nick (at a 3rd date) to do a final inspection and report. I'm going a "4" which in my book is "great". The price we paid for the work that was done was fair, the work was quality, and both the sell and final report were handled perfectly. Due to some confusion and crossed wires (that took about a week or so of going back and forth) that hindered my enthusiasm of the project briefly in the interim, I'm docking just the one star that would make this a "perfect" experience. I fully intend to use these folks again for some other tasks next year and I have every expectation that they'll bump up to a full "5" at that point ("perfect").

Cracked grout, transitions that did not match up, grout on walls and wood floors adjacent to the project and uneven floor tiles.They sent the same installer to fix the issues. He did not. I mistakenly paid for the job thinking they would stand behind it. They did not. Over the last year the floor tiles have cracked and are lifting up off the floor. When you walk on the floor it makes popping noises. It is obvious that the tiles are just simply sitting on the subfloor. After many months of attempting to contact the project manager he finally returned the call to inform me he no longer works for the company. He referred me to Tiffany with ACA. She came to my home and took photos. She later sent a text that the owner said it is not under warranty. I asked to speak with him but have not heard back from him for several weeks. Poor workamnship. Poor project management. Poor communication. Refusal to make this right. I very strongly advise anyone to stay away from ACA Construction in Hermitage and Gainsboro TN.

Many contractors can do paint, but very few do a good job with drywall installation, tape & repair. Drywall is a difficult skill to master. Try it sometime if you think otherwise. TDG did a great job. Fixed tape bubbles in our coffered ceiling that drove my wife nuts, which in turn drove me nuts...And, they fixed cracks from installation mistakes by a remodel contractor. If you need drywall repair & paint, these are your guys.
