Enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting at Vintage one evening. Very reasonable price for 6 tastings and samplings of cheese. Plenty of seating for the tasting which was nice to be able to sit and sip. We had three whites and three reds. I truly enjoyed all of the whites, great selections! Two of the three reds were very good, one was a little too brisk for my taste buds. The staff were knowledgeable about the wines and very personable to chat with. One of my favorite tastings to date. read more

Vintage Wine Cellars is an adorable local wine shop. I was first introduced to them when my realtor gifted us a wine basket when we moved to our new home last year. We did a girls night out last week and attended one of their wine tastings on a Friday from 7pm - 9pm. It was so much fun to sample the wines and learn about the regions they came from. Locally owned with knowledgeable owners and staff who shared samples, tips and had a vast collection of wines, including unique finds we could not find near us. It felt like we were visiting a friend and not just buying wine at the store. The $99 case is a great deal for us to expand our collection with some daily drinkers. Great wine tastings! We went here because my friend suggested it. What a great little place! The tasting has two tables with about ten wines each as well as a little snack table where you could have some cheese and crackers to help cleanse the palate between wines. I liked the tasting because while I know what I usually like, I got to try some wines I wouldn't normally get to try and I found a few new favorites. The night we went they had their annual sale where you can get a baker's dozen of wines from the tasting for $100. I broke my purchase up among the top three wines I tried. I would certainly go back here because it was a fun experience, and a really good deal. read more

Funny enough was looking for Hard Seltzers and figured I'd stop in to the only alcohol store in the immediate area. Was able to get some hard seltzers but the wine selection was tremendous. And prices were much cheaper than I am used to in similar wine stores in Miami. This place is is a true hidden gem. This wine shop is located on Henderson Boulevard in South Tampa. It's right across from the Queen of Sheba Ethiopian restaurant. They have a huge selection of wines and some craft beer. I visited here a couple of times. The first time was during a non-peak hour to check the place out for the first time. The second time I went here was to one of their wine events on a Friday this April and had a great time. This location was a little snug though with limited parking. The turnout for this particular event was high. Thankfully by the time this event took place (in the evening), most of the tenants in the plaza was closed making more parking available for the visitors. The tasting event then I went to was priced at $15 for the evening. It started off with A pamphlet of the featured wines, glass, a table of hors d'oeuvres, and several stations to choose from featuring various types of wine do you sample. The layout of this event was made to be as efficient as they could make it for this cozy location. I think they did a decent job. The staff has been friendly and knowledgeable. They've been more than willing to educate. Though I wouldn't be shopping here regularly, I can see myself coming here occasionally for one of their interesting wine events at some point during the year again maybe. read more

Vintage Wine Cellars is a local wine shop in South Tampa. The shop may not carry as large of a selection as other wine shops, but they carry a nice selection of wines that are rated 90 points or higher. I was able to locate several of my favorite wines and came across a few bottles that I would like to return to purchase. Do NOT buy aged wine here! It was not properly kept and is ruined. I've purchased a 97 Mouton Rothschild, 97 Vega Scillia, and an older port. All ruined due to improper storage. I even asked if they'd been stored correctly and was told yes... the answer should have been no. Both table wines were brown and raisin like, the port was also off. No issue with current year wine. read more

Super cute local wine store that make custom basket. Staff is super helpful and nice. Great selection of wine and some beers. Even though they don't carry it all like some of the franchises.
