I love to pop into this store and soak in all the vintage barware, designer handbags and Parisian posters. I'm a big fan of vintage cocktail culture, so their Culver glassware in the window was an immediate draw. They have the most beautiful cocktail sets available for purchase, most in near mint condition. I think of all the different themed parties and soiree's I could throw, sipping elegantly from a gold leaf emblazoned high ball glass. Or take a moment to appreciate the glass case of vintage alligator bags...imagine draping one over your arm and making that grand entrance. So many treasures in this store that those that appreciate the craftsmanship and work of a bygone era will enjoy! read more

Vintage 329 has one-of-a-kind autographed memorabilia with something for everyone. Whether you like historic or rare antique items like antique weaponry to autographed items from the sports and entertainment world, this store has it. They have lots of autographed pictures and posters from some of your favorite celebrities. They also have a bunch of autographed guitars from people like B.B. King, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, U2, and many others. The guitars range from around $6k-10k. I stopped in this week to see if they had an autographed team Saints helmet from the SB season but unfortunately they didn't. They had an autographed Drew Brees helmet for $900 (um no thanks). I want an electric guitar from here so bad (hint, hint) =D Very cool stuff here but pretty expensive! read more

When visiting New Orleans over the past 20 years, my husband and I would always visit Vintage 329. They carried old autographed record albums, sports memorabilia, and other collectibles. We've made several purchases and have always enjoyed the store and the folks who worked there. We went there today, only to find it is now exclusively a jewelry store. When we asked the woman about the albums and such, she first looked at us like we were from the moon and had no idea what we were talking about. When we asked again, she said they were no longer in that business. She could not have been more rude or dismissive. Because the store kept the same name, our question shouldn't be unusual or unexpected. On the basis of that 20 second experience today, I would recommend against shopping at Vintage 329. There are loads of really nice people in New Orleans, and we'll spend our money with them. read more

Vintage 329 is one of the coolest stores I've ever been into. It's a memorabilia shop that plays to literally any type of audience. They've got great antique-esk stuff that is a la pawn stars w/ gradings from Sean the expert arms gentleman, all the way to golf balls signed by the last 8 Presidents. Music memorabilia is abundant, but so are increbidly ecclectic and unique items like a gun from Butch Cassidy that was won in a poker gave in Alaska. Really cool shop with high end stuff all the way down to signed records. A great place to stop into and check out. read more

This place has the fakest Chanel jewelry I have ever seen! I am honestly not sure how they get away with this! Prices are higher than most vintage authenticated online. I feel bad for customers who do not realize the scam they are pushing here. Loads of tacky huge gold pieces....that is not typical Chanel although I am not a vintage expert. If a person/business can not give you authentication then run away! Spend your money on the real thing with paperwork to prove it! Vintage Cocktail ring from the 1950's $100 even. That's what was in my notes of this place, but totally sums it all up. Walked in thinking I wouldn't be able to afford a thing. But really, out of some of the vintage stores I visited, this had a wife range of merch and prices. Oh, the jewelry. Pretty amazing pieces that won't break the bank. Royal Street is renowned for its upscale antique stores. It was rather refreshing to find this more "down-to-Earth" shop. In this store, they offer a variety of memorabilia from musicians, sports figures, and movie stars. They have autographs, autographed items, including a number of musical instruments and albums, and they even have a markdown bin. Anyone who wants to get started collecting can find something here to start a collection with. Anyone wishing to add to a collection can surely find plenty worth collecting here. And, anyone who is just curious about history and memorabilia is completely welcome to walk around, and enjoy the view. To my complete surprise, 0 of the 4 passed authentication by the well-renowned PSA/DNA Authentication Services group based in California. I have since contacted the gallery director, Carly Brown, but have yet to receive a response. Addendum: I was subsequently offered a refund by Vintage 329. While I was disappointed with the purchased product, they did stand behind their guarantee. read more

Did not feel welcome at all. Although greeted when I walked in, not one of the three saleswomen could break away from their conversation to ask if needed help. Maybe it was the way I was dressed, they thought I wasn't a serious customer; but they definitely lost a sale. Even though I lingered at one of the display cases looking intently at the Momento Mori pieces I wished to buy, I was totally ignored. An update..never heard from the BBB either with complaint filed. Such businesses should not be allowed to sell such merchandise with a COA filled out with a family member who has retired, Then move next door with the same family owning the business then not even caring that they still essentially ripped you off. Had a fantastic time at this store full of treasures!!! Very eclectic, but full of some amazing pieces that you won't be able leave the store without. I found the most gorgeous vintage rhinestone bracelet for an amazingly fair price! So rare in the Quarter. They definitely want to help you find something you're going to love. Skip all the overpriced shops and buy from a real local hidden gem, All the employees know about everything in the shop and can really find you some thing special whether you are a local or a tourist. read more

At age 53, this was my first trip ever to New Orleans. WOW! I fell in love and it was quite overwhelming to know which stores to shop. So much choice! My strategy was to make the rounds and at the end go back to what I liked most. HOWEVER, the New Orleans spirits had something else in mind for me! Third store in on Royal Street was Vintage 329. I tried on a cool vintage ring and said to "Jamie" the lovely young woman who was helping me: "Love it, but need to look at other stores first. See you later maybe?" Then a pair of earrings caught my eye. She pulled them out. We started talking about history and then I saw a necklace I just had to try on - and from that point on I was HOOKED! We had so much FUN "playing." We chatted it up about the various histories of vintage jewelry in the store; I tried lots of things on (even a tiara); I walked around the store and admired myself in the mirror with various pieces; Jamie gave me awesome feedback and helped me decide which pieces suited me most. It was an all around BLAST!!! I loved reveling in the awesome vintage jewelry and imagining who made it and who wore it before me. I delighted in the time spent with Jamie. It was all so playful, uplifting. fun AND educational! Can you believe I purchased SEVEN gorgeous, amazing, pieces (including the tiara) AND Jamie gave me a special magical gift to boot. Oh, and Jamie also prepared historic write-ups for each piece including a vintage advertisement that a brooch I purchased was featured in. Sooooo happy :) read more
