Beautiful old French frame with moldings in perfect condition. Perfect for my print of a May 68 poster!

Regularly find gems at this local treasure trove. Barry the owner is fantastic; you can tell he really cares about finding beautiful things and is happy to help you find what you're looking for if you like, or let you browse on your own. Over the years we have found: a Brutalist relief sculpture, stemless 60s glassware, a 1910s shaving mirror, a Bauhaus-inspired tea kettle, an old French frame with original gesso molding in perfect condition, a vintage biscuit tin, and an absolutely incredible atomic-era yellow Venetian glass bowl, to name just a few of our great finds. We always love stopping in and seeing what's there.

Wonderful experience !!! Highly recommend. This was such a fun place to spend time and I walked…read moreaway with a bunch of stuff. One woman there (seemed like the owner) was so sweet and personable, and helped me find some items to try on and that I was looking for. She told me this is a multi generational woman owned store and it shows. There is some amazing thrift and vintage in these racks at all different price ranges (a bunch more accessible stuff and then some higher priced vintage dresses and pieces). If you enjoy the hunt this is a great spot for it! I walked away with an incredible pair of leather pants, a cashmere zip up hoodie, a macrame vintage bag and two mid century modern gorgeous coupe type glasses for like $80! Any one of these individual trendy/timeless items could've been in a high end shop for $80. I feel like this shop has something for everyone and it's enormous so it's a fun place to visit to kill time :) Thanks again. I wish I was local so I could come back.

I like this spot a lot and glad that it has survived so many years in Tallahassee. Unfortunately there was nothing that fit the style I was attempting to achieve. Because these items are vintage and I believe many are priced by individual sellers you will have a myriad prices, but I saw several people that had picked up items. I would say for items that are vintage/secondhand the prices are a little more than I'd like to spend. There was actually a lot of foot traffic there for a random Tuesday afternoon.

I remember my first visit to this Flea Market - back in 1990. I love it today as I did then, and…read morereturn again and again for the same reasons: 1. A very broad range of commerce. From the aisle barkers to the most timid of vendors, you're going to experience a colorful morning or afternoon when you come here. Additionally, some of the vendors are cash-only - some take plastic - and a growing number are up to speed with virtual transactions (paypal, google wallet, etc...). I wouldn't be surprised if there were one or two that knew their way with Bitcoin. 2. A seemingly endless pool of merchandise for sale. As broad a range of commerce, the range of merchandise is even broader. Some vendors specialize is narrow bands of merchandise (e.g., focusing on used DVDs, selling knives/blades only, selling barnyard animals only) - Some vendors specialize in not specializing in any particular collection (er, the warehouse of sorts at the end of Aisle D (I think) could rightfully be dubbed a "Generalist") - and some folks have a good in-the-middle approach to the market (e.g., we sell produce of all sorts / we sell all sorts of clothing / etc...). 3. Interacting with all sorts of people. You'll be hard-pressed to find any segment of our local demographics absent from the flea market. I can't think of another venue in Leon County where so many divergent cultures are all together as they are here. Both buyers and sellers alike are diverse and coming to a common understanding (through a closed deal) right here at the Flea Market Tallahassee! If you're new to town - come check out the Flea Market. If you've been in Tallahassee all your life, but for some crazy reason, have never visited the Flea Market - come check out the Flea Market. If you enjoy the sport of commerce, and want to spend an hour (or more) being "sporty" - then come check out the Flea Market. Seriously - come check out the Flea Market! (and, no... - I don't work at the Flea Market. ;))
