Awesome antique treasure trove, tens of thousands of vintage artifacts and collectibles

I have been to the Planters Exchange a few times. It is one of the most remarkable antique places to visit in Havana. It has a huge variety of consignment style areas to shop through, so what is offered depends on what the owner of various sections wants to unload. Prices range from quite reasonable to a bit alarming depending on who is selling what. The interior has a country charm to it and there is even a museum attached. It is definitely a place you can spend hours in looking around. Masks are required. read more

I love the Planters Exchange. I grew up in Havana and this is definitely the epitome of Havana Antiques. Highly recommend this store.

Very disappointing... purchased one item and while looking at another item a 50¢ glass broke...due to a defective design of item and a display that would tilt if even touched at all. I offered to purchase the DEFECTIVE $9 glass holder but pointed out that it truly was not my fault. One who worked there and observed the incident clearly felt uncomfortable as she realized that it was not my fault. The other two ladies just told me I needed to pay for it..I did without protest but now that I have it home and see that it is absolutely unstable no matter what is put in it or on it I am even more frustrated at their attitude and feel my good nature was really taken advantage of. read more
