The outside has a nice fountain and waterfall and dragon. The inside was also nicely decorated. There were many German ceramic items ie. dwarves, cooks. As soon as you walked inside, the bar is on the right and direct in front is a meat case where you can buy fresh cold cuts and raw meats. Everything looked very good. There were many people at the restaurant. I guess it is a popular place to dine. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (a breaded pork fillet with a mushroom sauce) with croquette (breaded potato roll). My daughter had bbq ribs with potato wedges. My dinner was super yummy (especially the sauce.) My daughter ordered extra of my jager sauce for her ribs. Unlike the US where the bbq sauce covers the ribs, here the ribs were bare. You could dip it into a sweet and sour sauce. However, she really enjoyed the ribs with my sauce. Who knew? The price for my dinner was $14 Euro and hers was $10 Euro. This is definitely not a fast food place, but won't blow a hole through your pocketbook. Come for the food and lovely atmosphere.

There are several options of shared platters with different types of meats. We tried the steak platter "for two" which came with 8 -- yes 8 -- steaks for less than 50 euro! In this platter, the filet mignon pieces were the typical size, and these were just 2 of the 8 steaks on the plate. Incredible. It was all perfect with some delicious Croatian red wine. Highly recommended if you love steak and meat!

Went here with a group of friends. The restaurant has their own parking lot. It is decorated…read morenicely, very comfortable and clean. There is inside as well as outside seating. If you wanted to sit outside, there is a window to block the wind for those who wanted to be closer outside and still be able to smoke and not disturb the rest of the non-smoking guests (which was really nice for me:) We were warmly welcomed by the host. The waiters are very efficient. The food was tasty and a good portion. Some dishes allowed you to serve yourself from the salad buffet. I ordered the a steak and gnocchi combination meal. The meat was good. The e gnocchi wasn't bad, but wasn't the best. It wasn't as light as the ones I've had in Italy. But I think it was different then the Italian gnocchi which is light and airy and creamy. My meal was average in cost, around 15 Euro. Haus Zelic is a nice alternative restaurant to have a nice meal. Go here for the food. Stay for the atmosphere.
