Many of the tequilas available are very pricey, but there are moderately and reasonable prices as well. I booked a tequila tasting here through Airbnb experiences and I'm so happy I did! We ended up being the only people who had booked this session so we got a private session. We got to learn all about tequila, the industry, and different regions it is produced in. We then got to taste different types of tequila along with different pairings so we could really pay attention to what flavors were brought out. I learned to really sip and appreciate. The shop is cute and intimate. Because we were the only ones there we got to taste some extra tequila and mezcal and spend our time doing some extra shopping. I walked away with a bottle of extra anejo tequila that I have since finished and will have to come back to get another bottle. They will help you pack up your purchases and let you sample lots of things too. He told us if we wanted to, to come back and grab a shot on our way to the bars before we left. Thank you for your hospitality, I will be back if I'm ever in the area! By itself, paired with food (heck at one point we ate grasshoppers!), aged tequila, new tequila, fruity dessert tequila, ancestral style small batch mezcal, and a super aged anejo that would sit well at any rum tasting! They even gave us an anniversary cake with our names on it and played music for us to dance around in a big conga line! They gave us big hugs and congratulations when we left. Well lighted, clean, well organized, nice folks. Not a tremendous selection. Maybe 200 wines. Other room has the booze. The selection there is fairly small. Tonight bought two different Chilean Pinot noirs. 1st bottle price = $11, 2nd bottle is = $18. Both passable. I live in the Sonoma valley of northern California wine country, I drink a LOT of wine. These two South American bottles easily compete quality wise with my hometown vintages that's cost two to three times as much. So, if you are a Medano beach area condo owner who cooks at home occasionally and needs wine and don't want to drive to Fresko or Costco, this place can provide a bottle that will do nicely.

A friend i was with loves tequila so we decided to make our own adventure and stumbled across West coast Tequila. The owner Ivan was more than beyond welcoming. Not a huge tequila sipper he asked what I drink. Knowing I prefer whiskey he suggested Don Cayo extra añejo. He gave us a history lesson on where tequila is made in Mexico and why he choose that tequila for me. Wow!!! I could sip on that all day with no issues. He also shared his private selection of whiskey and explained how it is made from corn. It's unlike any other whiskey. Last, he poured a tequila he thought my friend would like since she is not at all a whiskey fan. However, Ivan and I converted her after the tasting. The walls are lined with an abundance of tequila as well as art work from locals. Interested in the artwork and beading he began sharing a little morhistory behind the art. The table to which he sat behind and the wooden art wall made to showcase more ways to use natural ingredients. The entire experience was absolutely incredible and if I had room in my luggage it would have been filled with tequila. Regardless if you enjoy tequila or not this was an incredible experience and well worth the history lessons. For those visiting and worried about English you will feel at home as Ivan lived in the states.
