They were not high pressure and very informative. We were looking for a specific bottle for a friend but we could not find it here nor ANY other location we went to in Cabo.

Discovered this place walking around in Cabo in April 2021, and the later returned this last week on June 25, 2021. We absolutely love this place! They're so friendly and knowledgeable. "Harry Potter" was great. I'm not a big tequila person like my family is, but he let us taste one that I actually liked and my father-in-law enjoyed his tasting and purchased many bottles. Lol This is a must when we're in Cabo. We can't wait to return. Photos are from both trips in April and June 2021. Cheers!

Actually stopped here as a bit of a whim, as it was not a planned visit. Sometimes the not planned visit is the best This was a pleasant surprise, supper friendly, great tequila to taste, and even got a couple of beers for $1.00 dollar each. Many of the tequilas available are very pricey, but there are moderately and reasonable prices as well. I would give them five stars, but they need to update their restrooms a little to get to the top level. I do recommend giving them a "shot ", if you're near by on your trip to Cabo. read more

EASILY the best tequila store in all of Baja California, Mexico. The selection is superior and knowledge unparalleled. Today's customer service was provided by Melissa, and while young, she has a good grasp on additive free tequilas and the processes involved in their creation. I sampled a half dozen or so, ranging in price from $35 to $170 and Melissa, wanting to gain more experience, jumped in on a sip of one she hadn't tried before so she would be better able to convey the notes to future customers. If your looking for fancy bottles and the mainstream garbage, feel free to go somewhere else. But if you're looking for premium juice, skip the numerous "Cabo Tequila" stores downtown and run to this place. It is the legitimate deal. For reference, one of the bottles I purchased there is a brand well known to tequila sippers called G4, Extra Anejo variety this time. This is imported to the states, but almost impossible to find, at any price. 5 stars, Stacky recommended! read more

Purchased 2 bottles on November 5 2024. Was told they were not available in the US. The price was supposed to be $270 however after the conversion to pesos I was charged $325. Additionally upon returning i have found the supposed Mexico exclusive tequilla at Total wine for less $$ read more

What a interesting and cool place to learn about tequila. Alonso greets you when you arrive speaks English . There not trying to sell trinkets and stuff. Tristan Franco knows tequila . We got to try all kinds from bottom to top shelf . So many interesting bottles and Tristan taught us where each different tequila is made how long and anything u want to know. As many others have said, Tequila Town was an unexpected surprise for us. We walked in thinking we had "knew" something about good tequila, and thought based on the size of the store that we would be able to find a good deal on a specific brand and quality we were looking for. Surprise! Turns out we had a lot to learn....... It started with Tristan very politely and diplomatically telling us that we could find what we were asking for at most any liquor store (which is sad but true). What happened next was a very mind-expanding learning experience. Tristan (and later Harry Potter) kindly walked us through a whole new world of Tequila tastes. Wow. In the end we wound up purchasing a something that was FAR superior to what we had come in looking for.....and......it was actually about the same price as the "production" Tequila. We ended up coming back a few days later for another bottle. It just made sense. :-) Thank you Tristan and Harry Potter for showing us a whole new world. Can't recommend this place and these young men highly enough. read more

Walked into the store and I was immediately asked if I wanted a beer to drink while I shopped. I asked the salesman how much and he told me it was free. I asked him if they carried a specific tequila and he told me this wasn't a good tequila and proceeded to push me into buying another bottle. I ended up buying a bottle from them and then was told I had to pay for the complementary beer. Very pushy salesmen and questionable integrity. read more

Especially for the prices as many other places try to upsell and pressure you this place is honest and offers the best prices hands down in cabo! Harry Potter was EXTREMELY patient and offered a ton of Tequila samples. My husband ended up buying 3 bottles and all of us there had a great time tasting (there were 8 of us). I would definitely recommend this place to try and see all the cool bottles and more! read more

We have been stopping by here ever year for the last three years and will most definitely be coming back. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, our favorite worker there goes by Harry Potter. They offer tequila tasting on many of their tequilas ranging in all kinds of different flavors and age. What is absolutely great is they are not pushy for you to buy anything, but they will make great recommendations and I would be surprised for anyone to not find something they like. read more

Well lighted, clean, well organized, nice folks. Not a tremendous selection. Maybe 200 wines. Other room has the booze. The selection there is fairly small. Tonight bought two different Chilean Pinot noirs. 1st bottle price = $11, 2nd bottle is = $18. Both passable. I live in the Sonoma valley of northern California wine country, I drink a LOT of wine. These two South American bottles easily compete quality wise with my hometown vintages that's cost two to three times as much. So, if you are a Medano beach area condo owner who cooks at home occasionally and needs wine and don't want to drive to Fresko or Costco, this place can provide a bottle that will do nicely.

Well later on when I checked my credit card app it showed up as $175! That's a 20% premium of what he told us. My friend who was with us said this was the second time this had happened to him. So this was deliberate, not an accident. All I can say is do NOT trust these guys when it comes to fair pricing. I bought a nice tequilla but it is NOT worth $175.

The Tequila Museum is super tiny but they actually conduct short tours of the museum here! We took a tour of the museum and we were shown how Tequila is produced. Although short, it was actually pretty informative. And then afterward, we got to taste a few samples of... you guessed it... TEQUILA! We were given three samples; one regular, one almond, and one coconut. I'm not sure what brand this Tequila was, but ALL of the flavors tasted amazing! Really liked the coconut! I could totally picture myself sipping on a cold glass of that in high heat. Unfortunately, I was too afraid to actually get it for some reason. Something about getting it through immigration and customs on the way back just made me say no. But now, I'm wishing that I would have. I was still able to get some nice souvenirs from here! They were selling 4 shirts for $10 and they had some crazy good deals on a lot of other merchandise! A couple of us basically raided the place! Not sure if they accept credit (I assume that they would), but they accept both USD and pesos for purchase and they have both prices listed on everything which is super helpful. This store is located right in the heart of Cabo and is only two blocks away from Cabo Wabo! Convenience definitely isn't an issue since it's so close by. No parking though of course, but it's probably better to not even drive yourself if you're in this area anyways because it's so busy. Really happy that we stopped here and I will definitely be buying the Tequila pack if I ever find myself back in this store again.

I must confess I didn't even enter the place but the man at the front yelled at my girlfriend and myself to enter and we said "no, thank you" he then started to call us rude and say we had "ugly manners". I was shocked at how he treated us. I would recommend anywhere else but here. I wouldn't go here even if I was paid to go. read more
