For starters, it's nearly impossible to get an appointment with my actual primary care doctor, so I…read morealways end up being seen by Dr. Perdue. When I saw her last February, I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a physician. While I was waiting in the exam room, I could hear her loudly speaking with a nurse outside about a missing chart. She then walked into the room and opened with, "Excuse me, I must be going crazy." That's not exactly the kind of thing you want to hear from a doctor who's about to diagnose you--especially when you're already feeling vulnerable and unwell. I had visible symptoms and had bloodwork done, which she reviewed and told me everything looked "normal." Without much examination, she touched my scalp, said I had dandruff, and prescribed me a treatment for it. As someone who owns a hair care company, I knew I absolutely did not have dandruff--and that this was a much deeper issue. I ended up seeing a different doctor outside of PIH, who actually took the time to properly review my labs. Turns out, my iron was dangerously low, my B12 levels were too high, and there were several other red flags--none of which Dr. Perdue had mentioned. After following a proper supplement plan, my symptoms fully resolved within two months. My advice: be cautious if you decide to come here. In my experience, the care was rushed, dismissive, and dangerously inaccurate. Misdiagnosis is no joke.

PLEASE. GO ELSEWHERE. disclaimer: This is solely meant to…read moreshare my experience. People deserve to be heard, to feel safe and understood. NOT to be gaslit or villainized for seeking help. I'm happy to say i will no longer return and i will continue to advocate against mistreatment of people seeking help! good luck, and if anyone experienced anything similar i am sorry and you deserved better. my experience with Diana Otuwa was horrid! hands were shaking the entire time of the procedure, it's concerning how she's managed to get this far putting patients at risk with inadequate care. And Kathrin Zimmerman has made false remarks and claims about patients. This physicians office is incredibly disorganized and unethical. They do not care about your overall wellbeing and it shows immensely through their physicians.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this office. I was seen on Monday for ***…read moresymptoms and completed a ** . On Tuesday, I received a call confirming that I did, in fact, have a *** and was told that a prescription would be sent to my pharmacy. However, the prescription was never sent that day. By Wednesday, I had called the office multiple times trying to get answers and ensure that my medication was sent. Each time, I was given a different explanation for the delay. I eventually learned that the office was waiting on insurance authorization, even though my prescription coverage had been canceled due to being on medical leave and I would have been paying out of pocket regardless. This information was only addressed after I called repeatedly. What has been most frustrating is the lack of communication and follow-through. On multiple occasions, I was placed on hold for extended periods of time. In fact, I had a similar experience just two weeks earlier, when I was left on hold until the office closed and my call was disconnected without any resolution. I understand that medical offices are busy, but patients should not have to repeatedly call to obtain medication for a confirmed infection. Delays, poor communication, and being left on hold without answers create unnecessary stress, especially when dealing with an active medical issue. I hope the office improves its processes so that future patients receive more timely communication and care.
