We recently purchased a home with Vinh's professional help. As first-time home buyers in Bay Area, we thought the process would be very stressful. But luckily, with Vinh's help, the whole experience was much smoother than expected. We moved into our first home in the Evergreen area of San Jose in 1979. After 42 tears in the same home. we decided that we wanted to sell our house in San Jose, CA and move to Southlake, TX to be closer to our youngest daughter and newest granddaughter. My wife and I are writing this review based on our pure experiences. Working with Vinh - It has been Things you need in a realtor is being quick, prompt in response, straight to the point and honest. Vinh had all the great qualities we were looking for. Our story was a little different. We were working with a different Realtor for about 2 months, and also we used to go for Open-Houses every weekend. Our current first home was one of the houses that we saw on an open house and loved it instantly as it had most of what we were looking for in our first home. Which is usually hard to many people to get. I guess we were lucky by God's grace. We told our realtor that we liked a place and would like them to take a look at it from their prespective of pros and cons that they see which as first time home buyers we would usually miss.. But, they just shot us down bluntly saying that the area was not good, and they were forcing us towards berryessa and milpitas side (which we said that we did not want it as the houses were over our budget or not our liking). Personally we felt that they were forcing us for something which we do not like at all. And the same day we contacted Randy and Vinh. So, we saw the open house on Saturday, got shot down and Sunday, spoke to Randy and Vinh on Monday and Vinh came to see the home with us on the same day. Yes!! Monday.. That is how quick they were. Same day in the evening they did their research for what offer was the most ideal one and they gave us a ball-park of the offer we can put and they let us take our time to decide.. We decided and put an offer on Tueday and we got accepted on Thursday. That how quick and prompt they were. This was the speed they worked in. Real quick, as house in this market sell fast. That too a house that we liked with so many of our criterias being fulfilled was a BIG bonus to us. With respect to the house. Vinh came along and said what to look and how to figure out what needs to be seen with keen eyes and what are the cons that as a realtor they might see and if it is something we dont really care or can live with or not a deal breaker.. Vinh also accompanied to check the house after inspections. His approach was very friendly and never felt that they were forcing us. They gave their thoughts on what they think they saw and let us know for us to make the decisions based on the facts.. That is a most important aspect anyone would need as buying a home is a huge step in life and we need to be certain of our decision based on the facts.. So we put the offer and it got accepted. After which Randy and Vinh both worked promptly till the closure as it were the holidays coming up. There were so many documents for the process. We had some questions and he answered them so that we could understand it better and not just signing the papers. And hence we are here its been little over a month now at our new home and we totally love it. After we moved in, we needed some help with Insulation and some electrical work and Randy and Vinh both put in touch with a contractor that they know and they gave us a quote. If you're here, then look no further. Vinh is the guy for you!! :) He is an absolute amazing person and makes your home search task very simple for you! Very personable, and easy to connect. We were referred by a friend who wrote a big fat 5-star review here, and after the transaction, we totally understand why they did that and are going to do the same. I'm grateful that we met such great realtors like Vinh and Randy in our first home purchase process. The experience is PHENOMENAL. They have every great trait that you need from a buyer's agent: 1. Patient. Our search lasted around 3 months, visited 30+ listings and made 5+ offers. They were always present and answered all dumb questions from us in detail. 2. Honest and Trustworthy. They analyze the properties, the markets, and the strategies objectively based on data and their observations, list the pros/cons and the tradeoffs of different ways and point out the items that we may need to be more cautious. They always keep neutral and never push us to make any decision that we aren't comfortable with. From what we've experienced, we are sure we can 100% trust them that they will represent our interest, and will do anything needed to achieve our goal. 3. Knowledgeable and Experienced. Randy and Vinh are very knowledgeable about everything involved in the entire process, including the market, neighborhood, house features and issues, appraisal, loan, remodeling, etc. With the knowledge and experience they have, they can discover potential advantages and problems that general people can't. They are also generous to offer valuable advice and extensive educations on things that we aren't familiar with. We've learned a lot from them. 4. Responsible and Reliable. They viewed every property with us, carefully read and explain all reports/disclosures/documents to us, did thorough market research and sort out the best offer range, followed up with the seller's agents to dig out valuable information, negotiated with the lenders for us, and coordinated with the inspectors and contractors for us. In the closing meeting, they walked through the documents and caught the seller party didn't include the home warranty in the documents, and asked the seller's agent to address it immediately. Even after the transaction is closed, they are still helping us on repairs and renovation. It's just hard to find an agent that would be willing to do that much and thorough for their clients. We finally got our first home in a desirable location with a good price. As first time home buyers, we were especially suspicious and cautious about everything. We did our due diligence to search for a perfect realtor, and I now can guarantee that all the 5-star reviews here are real. They are awesome. read more

We have tried about 4 realtors before finding Vinh. The first 4 realtors we found almost all are from big name Realty companies, incompetent and will not prioritize your interests over their own selfish cut or commish. You cannot trust if they are telling the truth or they are just plain stupid or they are just manipulating you to close the deal fast. It is so godam frustrating, seriously those big name Realty companies have some really greedy, inept agents, and even if they work in teams, most of them are only with the same low level skills. These big company name realtors all just have 1 standard service and they seem to be manipulating their wide connection to close as much home sales as possible, they don't care about you and your family's needs and wants with a home sale or purchase. They just need to brag about how they are a Top 10 or Top Tier ranked agent in the Bay area, while you are just the poor guy who just lost a lot of money. That is the stark difference when you get Vinh as your realtor, he really is genuinely on your side, its like you got a close relative that has a realtor license, working for you. Its only through him that we are able to close on a sale that we really maximized our benefits and we got all what we want with no hassle. As a first time home-buyer, I was very nervous as to who I would ultimately choose as my agent. I had contemplated buying a home for a long time, but there were too many aspects of buying a home that I was not knowledgeable of...and that itself made me uncomfortable and unwilling to move forward. After some discussion with my brother, who had strongly recommended Randy after buying his home, I decided it didn't hurt to get in touch with an agent and look at my options. The first time I met with Randy and Vinh, the introduction was very professional. They took the time to get a good idea of what type of home, area, and price range suited me. Furthermore, they put on a clear, concise, and thorough presentation covering the critical steps in buying a home. There was no sales pitch to any of this; you could see the sincerity in their presentation that they were looking out for my best interest...not some sort of manipulation to convince me into buying any home. Between that first meeting and the 8-9 months that followed, Randy and his team worked very effectively with me. They quickly picked up on the small things I liked in homes,...and even more importantly, the small things I hated in homes. I moved up to the Bay Area from Orange County and wanted to invest, but had no idea about where is a good area for investment. When we first met, Vinh asked me of what my preferences and criteria are so he can put together a list that targets my needs to reduce my time and energy.
