Our two dawgs have been patients here for years (and even at the previous facility with Dr. Drelich), and they're always wonderful, but today was over the top. We brought our elderly dawg in to discuss end-of-life options for him at his advanced age and sudden health slide, and it was decided quickly that today would be the day to put him down and save him from his suffering and ongoing (soon to increase) health issues. Explaining the process was expected -- the rest of the visit and what came after was not and is WHY this place deserves more positive reviews. Not only were they caring and cleared a space for us to sit and say our goodbyes with zero pressure or rush of any kind, they could not have been more caring towards my son, the actual owner of the dawg, Beef. The visit was sad and we said our goodbyes and such, but their kindness and multiple offers of comfort was beautiful -- everything from offering us water, to giving us all the time in the world without even having made an appointment. We left our Beefy there with them to return to us, having chosen a box for cremation. What we received back was beyond anything I expected -- not only was the box shined up and beautiful, but they had included a copy of an explanation of Rainbow Bridge, a tiny pack of Kleenex, a package with a tuft of Beefy's fur, a clay paw print, an engraved name plaque, and a package of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in his honor. I didn't expect such a beautiful care package in his honor and we were all touched and surprised at the detail included and care it takes to provide something like this for the grieving family. It was very sweet of them. Also, there isn't a single vet there that we haven't had a good experience with. They're highly knowledgeable, caring, and they have always been willing to go above and beyond to be sure our dawgs are comfy and cared for. read more

I would never return to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital even if the visit were free. My 3-year-old Shiba Inu went in only for a blood test. He was nervous and crying a little, but he has always been somewhat anxious during vet visits. We have been bringing him there for the last 3 years and he never had serious issues afterward. This time, the vet was unable to take the blood sample and brought him back to us. After the visit, my dog suddenly developed severe diarrhea -- 5 times during the day and 3 more times during the night. He also lost his appetite for two days and became lethargic. Before this visit, he was a healthy dog with a normal appetite and no history of diarrhea problems. The next day I asked the clinic if they had used any calming spray, medication, or sedation because his behavior and physical condition changed so dramatically afterward. They completely denied using anything. What upset me even more was the response from the female vet, who said: "Don't blame me, blame your dog, he has anxiety." That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of showing concern and saying something like, "Please bring him back so we can check why he feels sick," I felt like they simply brushed the situation aside. I understand some dogs get nervous at the vet, but something clearly changed after this visit, and I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and with zero confidence in returning there again. read more

We had trusted this clinic for years, but when our pug Gunther became seriously ill, the vet failed him. No X-rays, ultrasound, or thorough blood work were done. Two days later, at the ER, imaging showed his urethra was packed with stones up to his bladder, which was close to bursting. Blood work revealed severe infection and kidney failure. By then, it was too late, and Gunther passed away. The front desk staff are kind and professional, but the lack of proper diagnostics and care from the veterinarian cost our dog his life. We can no longer recommend this clinic. read more

Looking for a veterinarian in the area, I read reviews on many in Temecula and Murrieta. Over two weeks, I then dropped in, in person, to 5 of them. Front area staff, the condition of the clinic and the veterinarians at any given facility ALL play into which one to go with for me. It's a stressful task finding/researching vet offices for your animals when new to an area. I've had a number of dogs and then (foster fail) rescue dogs over the years. So, I'm well versed on a variety of canine health issues from diabetes to Addison's to tick born illnesses to thyroid issues etc. Plus, I'm long time good friends with veterinarians out of area. So, I hear of so many of their cases/treatments. Vineyard Veterinary was my last stop in the search. I'd then compare the 5 I went into in person over a weekend. Well, that was the plan. On entering Vineyard Veterinary Hospital, it was immaculate, had a good decor vibe to the waiting room. And, Jim at the front desk had great energy, answered all my questions. Other staff in the mix nearby seemed in good spirits too. Enough so that I decided on the spot to make an appointment and give them a try with one of my dogs. Cut to the appointment: Tech Erica made me feel at ease immediately as she asked questions, took details down. Minutes later, the vet entered. Dr. O is...OHHH MAZING! She'd already read charts sent over from the out of area vet, knew of medication dosages already, without me having to tell her. When it was time for blood work (I'd mentioned this dog has trouble getting traction on some flooring due to "uniquely" shaped legs) Jim was right there to airlift this Samoyed to the back! And, an airlift ride for Bo Bo on the way back too! The next day follow up call with Dr. O about the bloodwork results...she explains it all to easily understand. You can tell she cares. Very glad to have found the team at Vineyard Veterinary. read more

I brought my dog in to get neutered, and the entire experience was smooth and reassuring. Dr. Drelich did a great job with the procedure--everything went perfectly. The vet tech- Marc was amazing, taking the time to walk us through all the post-surgery care instructions and making sure my dog was doing okay before we left. The front desk staff was also super friendly and welcoming, which really made the whole visit feel comfortable. You can tell the entire team genuinely cares. I'll definitely be coming back for my dog's future care. Highly recommend Dr. Drelich and the team! read more

I have two Frenchies so I'm a pretty frequent flyer at the vet. I've tried a few in the area and this vet is just superior. I love the convenience of being able to book an appointment online. The price is the reasonable. The vets all take time to listen and don't rush you. And i love that they are so efficient I've been twice so far and have been in and out in about 30 minutes each time. Kudos to this team! read more

If I could give the doctor's and staff 10 out of 10 I would. I moved from LA about a year ago and was nervous about finding a new vet. Everyone in the office goes above and beyond. They are kind, knowledgeable, and affordable. This is really unheard of with vet offices these days.I have two very high maintenance dogs who are seeing the vet monthly with so many issues and am a bit of a helicopter Mom. They do not push services on you like most other vets, and spend time with every visit. Last week a family members dog had a huge hematoma in her ears. The staff got my sister's dog in for surgery within a day, and really helped with financial cost. Honestly I feel like I hit the lotto with finding them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!! read more

Staff Friendly and helpful. Doctors and technicians are caring!!! Appreciate all what they do!!!

Excellent. Caring. Responsive. When you've got an urgency, they move mountains to get you in. Have followed Dr. Dreilich through many family dogs/cats over 15 years--just realized that. He gets the job done, the dogs/cats love him. My "kids" are always happy and healthy after being treated here. Staff is equally exceptional. Place is always immaculate. My experience was 3 out of a possible 10. Basic communication was the issue.. i am 82 yrs young and my Maltese Emma almost 2 yrs. The confusion was regarding lab work versus heartworm test and what I understand Lacey saying is they use the same blood work for both and that it is my decision which I want to use the blood work for . I had been receiving reminder emails to come in for Emma and when I made the appointment I was told the reason I needed to come in was for a heartworm test ...that kind of changed when I was having a conversation.. I did say I was not happy with the way this was going, and Lacey was quite willing to refund me the money and I can go somewhere else. The woman talks, she deflected very well. She must have a very good connection with the vet's because she was very confident in being very strong and she didn't care about my opinion one way or another and that's fine. They probably don't need my business. But I need to be able to have things explain to me in a little more kinder gentler way than Lacey's style of speaking.. You know, I made an appointment to take my Maltese in at 8 weeks-so that I could create a relationship with Vineyard veterinary .. i've lived in Temecula since 1976 back in the day the vet we went to see there was only one over in Lake Elsinore. Now there are many vets and people to service their animals anyway I'm glad there's a place that I could share my experience.. read more

We came to Vineyard Vet Hospital today because we thought something was wrong with our five-year-old cat. I called, and they were booked until Monday. Then, they said, "Let me see what we can do." I would absolutely recommend returning to Vineyard Vet Hospital when needed. Thank you for all you do and for taking care of Serenity today! read more

My dog bandit had an ear infection so we went to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital. My dog is very familiar with veterinary care since he is also a seizure dog and goes to the veterinary hospital a lot unfortunately. The appointment went fine. They administered his ear medicine at the hospital and sent me home with the rest of the medication. Once I got home and tried to administer first ear medicine he fought me. He didn't let me near his ear with the medicine which is not like his behavior or demeanor. He has always been the best little patient ever. He always takes his meds since we have to give his seizure medication 3 times a day. This is also not the first ear infection he has had and always allowed me to apply medication to his ear. But, something happened at the hospital. Someone hurt him at the hospital when they applied his first dose to his ear. I am so pissed off for this situation. read more

I have been to several veterinary clinics and hospitals in the Temecula/Murrieta area in the past 24 years and this is absolutely the best one I've been to! My little dog needed dental surgery, and I wasn't 100% sold on any of the other vet clinics. I saw that Dr. Drelich was highly recommended so I decided to check out Vineyard Veterinary. From my very first visit everyone has been kind, helpful and patient in answering all my questions and easing my concerns. The office is also run smoothly and their prices are fair. My little dog had her surgery and everything went great. I'm very grateful to Dr. Drelich and ALL the staff at Vineyard Veterinary, and I will definitely continue to bring my dogs here! read more

I've had dozens and dozens of animals over the years big and small and I hadn't had a good vet experience in probably the last 6-8 visits. A lot of people have been telling me to try out Vineyard vet. I took one of my dogs in for a bad cut she got and it was a great experience, a lot of the staff came from a vet that I had used for probably close to 20 years but has gone downhill and lost my confidence. Looks like the good people have moved over here. Vineyard veterinary restored my faith in vets. So thank you very much for fixing my dog and giving me some confidence in vets again. read more

I don't post reviews often, in fact I never have. But I felt drawn too because of the experience I have had with Vineyard vet. Dr. Drelick came recommended highly by a friend after my bulldog became sick in his older age. The very first appointment I trusted Dr. Drelick 100%. I went from google, Facebook searching other people's experiences, and jumping vet to vet, to finally letting go of the feeling of having to " figure it out" after being left with no place or answer by other vets. My dog is battling a harsh disease that in the end he won't win, but Dr.Drelick has been honest, understanding, compassionate, and attentive. Not to mention that he is incredibly smart. I have never left a visit or phone call with unanswered questions or no plan. This situation is not easy- we all dread the day something like this happens with our pets...but having someone who simply cares, and listens, makes the process less agonizing. Dr has never once made me feel pressured into a decision, like I'm doing too much or too little, never rushes to get off the phone when I am asking probably the same question I did last time. Sometimes we just need to be reminded we are doing the best that we can- Dr. Drelick treats the pet, but he is there for the family as well. I truly cannot recommend him and his staff more. read more

Love Vineyard Veterinary Hospital! They take care of my two cats and 3yo Australian Cattle Dog. My ACD is very anxious when at the vet and they are amazing at caring for him in the least stressful manner. I'm always able to bring my pets in together which saves me so much time. Scheduling is very easy through their app. I am able to refill prescriptions through their online pharmacy and have them sent directly to our house. We have seen Dr. Drelich and Dr. Oberholtzer who have been knowledgeable and informative. They take the time to discuss any concerns or questions we have. We really appreciate all the vet techs, we have worked with many, there who are always friendly and caring. We also love the fact that VVH works closely with several local rescues to support the many rescue pups in need They go above and beyond and we recommend them to anyone and everyone! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A+ all-around. Great place to make sure your furry friend is healthy! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Vet takes the time to understand your pet and explain care options and treatment. When things were taking awhile they offered to waive my exam fees and gave me a Starbucks gift card, even when I said that wasn't necessary. I can't recommend this vet enough! They are the BEST! I was visiting a local RV park and my Jack tore his toenail (almost) off. I called my vet back home (going home in 2 days) and the soonest they could get me in was a WEEK. Another guest at the park told me to go to Vineyard Veterinary Clinic. I called, they got me in the next day, and I saw Dr Drelich. I have not loved a vet this much in YEARS. He was kind, explained everything, put up with my nervous "over talking" and got Jack's broken toenail off. He then suggested Librela for Jacks arthritis (he's almost 14). His regular vet never did that! OMG what a difference! I have my bouncy Jack back! I come to Temecula at least 2x per month, so I will definitely have Vineyard Vet as my permanent vet. What an amazing find! read more

Same day appointments. Super kind. My dog had an open sore that looked awful. I called around and most vets could not see us on the same day. They had emergency appts but the base cost was over $100. I don't do this often I want to give a big shout out to Vineyard Veterinary Hospital. Took my dog Sage there today. They were so polite. Dr. Oren Drelich cut off a growth. I've never been asked that at other facilities. I usually juggle my way out like a circus clown! If you are looking to try out a new place, go check them out, you won't be disappointed! Dr. Drelich did an incredible job with Hazel during her dental procedure. He took all necessary precautions including using the same medications that she had success with prior from a doggie dentist cleaned her teeth, extracted teeth that needed to be pulled out based on dental probing and x-rays and explained procedure and after care thoroughly. He has great bedside manners and loves the animals as his own. He does what's necessary and does not push additional testing, procedures, etc. He is the best vet I have had my entire life! Thank you and I am so glad my animals and I have found you. I would highly recommend. read more

i took my dog there for the first time in november. he was diagnosed with heart failure and ascites which gave him a huge pot belly pig appearance. last week i had to take him back to get belly fluids drained again. my appointment was for 220, on time, yet the vet came in, took my dog without hearing me out and told me to come back at 420. i got there and was handed my dog at 5 after waiting much of the day for him to be attended to. this place runs like a chop shop with their overbooking and lack of attention for something you have paid for. my dog was just as bloated as when i took him in. i asked why and vet said he was not able to drain him because my dog was not cooperating. he told me to bring him back in 4 days and he would try again. i called four days later and was told i would have to pay another $135 for the service he could not properly do. this problem leaves my dog in great discomfort and makes breathing difficult. it is so unethical that the vet would not abate the problem i paid for and want more money for what he didnt complete. no one should have an animal handed back to them in near same condition after a vet. I feel this vet is a greedy little worm who lacks empathy. He asked me before he even diagnosed my dog if i could ' afford 300$.' like some used car salesman. my dog is still suffering from breathing and great discomfort as i am trying to find a new vet. further, the dr . misdiagnosed my dogs weakened demeaner as his heart failure but my dog had also developed a foot ulcer from the bloods failing to circulate which affected his personality. Later dr. Drelich returned and told me my dog's poor demeanor was possibly due to his heart condition.. He flipped flopped. It was his foot ulcer which made the fluid procedure difficult but vet didn't know this until i first pointed out to him why my dog was newly suffering. dr. Drelich saw my dog both times. I assume he is a greedy vet, where profit comes before ethics. please save your money and go somewhere else. all the good reviews may he from family and friends. WHAT kind of a person leaves a dog struggling to breathe like that? My dogs labored breathing is difficult to watch. look for humane care elsewhere. He WAS SEEN BY DR. DRELICH. read more

What a find! After several years of really disappointing experiences at local veterinary clinics (with the rare exception), my family and I have a great vet! Unbelievably, it's right across the street. I had relied so much upon other reviews of "the best" places (yet that was rarely the case at the visits I had at said locations) and the time and trouble spent at highly rated places at my animals' expense really made me begin to lose interest in living here and most definitely trusting my pets' vet, which is so important for peace of mind. I am glad I tried the local place regardless of it not yet having five stars. IMO, it should be noted that we spent a total of 36 minutes from our front door back into said door after a completed acute illness assessment and treatment. I've a follow up I look forward to and several other cats I feel confident bringing here. Priceless. I'm so relieved to have a spot to bring my beloved cats. It's been a big transition relocating from La Costa years ago, but I finally feel like I have a doctor for my animals and it brings me a lot of comfort. Sigh... read more

Dr. Totman and the staff at Vineyard Veterinary Hospital have always been caring and polite. They deal with very stressful situations with many amazing creatures that they really care for, my Olivia is one of them!!! Olivia has no hips from birth as a toy/small dog that is not a fix. :( I transferred to Dr Totman and with their support and care Olivia is going on 5plus Years now!!!! She not only walks on all four legs can do short sprints across the yard. I attribute the success to yearly check ups, nail techs to trim her nails ( carefully not to wrench her hips) listening to Dr Totman's directions on care and working with him on solutions to help Olivia. read more

So disappointed. Dr. Drelich seems pleasant & skilled as a vet but the front is mismanaged. We'd heard such good things about about Drelich --however we should have read these reviews before making an appointment. Our first experience at this place was not pleasant and will be our last. We arrived early, filled out the paperwork and sat waiting 58 minutes to see the vet. No apologies or a heads up from front desk staff that there would be a delay. Not up front. Not even 30 minutes into our wait. Instead we sat there and watched as other people and pets came in and were seen before us (none of which were emergencies, which we would have understood). One woman even said, "I see you're busy but..." and they took her pet right back. Another woman who arrived 30 minutes after our scheduled appt time had her pet taken to the back right away -- and then Drelich came out and consulted with her in the waiting room. Elapsed time for her visit: 10 min. Meanwhile, we continued to wait an additional 28 min before the vet deigned to see us -- for what turned out to be a cursory, 5 min visit. If the vet is running an hour late, why not TELL people when they sign in? Let them know up front. Give them a choice of waiting or rescheduling. Maybe apologize. Maybe consider that they have other appts that they will now be late for, because they chose the wrong vet office. Based on what we experienced, we conclude that this office does not want new patients. No problem. We'll go elsewhere. read more
