How many people have passed this place and thought it was just a gas station? If they only knew, right? What a fabulous place to eat. Everything is outstanding and if you can't sit down they have many many things to go either via the sit down restaurant/buffet or hot deli. Don't miss this place. If you do stop. You can thank me later!!! I've been here twice and both times have been exceptionally good. $10. Includes everything. Desserts are standouts.

Barbeque and meat and 3, butcher shop and grocery all rolled into one. Some unusual but tasty options - venison sausage; old fashioned red rind cheese; and bacon fat (in the spice section) for that little something extra for the cornbread. Quick grab salads and sandwiches available and a delicious banana pudding. Lots of tools and extras to make your barbecue perfect. Meat and 3 are good and they do open early for breakfast. I'd recommend them for butcher shop and supplies. Lunch is a busy time. Staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. Nice, new building and great for families.

Have heard this place was good so I decided that today I'd drive over and have lunch there. Let me start off with saying the lunch buffet was $9.95 including your drink so the price is great. Today they had fried chicken, gigantic fried pork chips, oven barbecued chicken, smothered liver & onions, grilled sausage links and red beans. They also had rice, green beans, broccoli rice & cheese casserole, mustard greens, corn on the cob. Rolls and cornbread muffins. They had salad bar and dessert bar that was also included in the $.995 price The drinks included were fountain drinks, sweet and unsweetened tea. The mustard greens were very good they were tender and melted in your mouth ! The broccoli rice n cheese casserole had lots of yummy cheese and lots of broccoli I enjoyed I think it was homemade. The cornbread muffins were pretty good as well. The fried chicken was good, not the best I've ever had but it was good. The sausage had a really good flavor and the red beans were good as well. I didn't try the liver & onions but they were going fast so it must of been good. The pork chips also seemed to be popular I should of ate one but there was so many choices. They had 2 cobblers which I think were the frozen types but they had German chocolate cake that was good and fresh fudge ! All included in the $9.95 lunch price So if your hungry and near there I'd stop in and get a buffet. They don't have a menu ! It's buffet only !

What a great lunch buffet tucked along side the gas station. A wonderful selection of meat from smoked chicken to homemade mac & cheese and delicious cobbler for dessert there's no reason you should leave here being hungry. Make sure to check out the butcher shop as well and take some of the goodness home with you. Lunch buffet $13.

Stumbled upon this restaurant/convenience storeon the way home from camping a couple of years back. When your hungry and there isn't anywhere to eat and you pass this place that was PACKED, you know the food has to be good, so we pulled in! We had the buffet, which isn't huge but has a great selection! I've become a fan of Vines and make the hour drive! My favorite is the fried pork chops and beef liver in gravy!! The employees are very friendly! I never leave disappointed! The buffet changes on a daily basis! One price for the buffet, salad bar, dessert bar and a drink! After we get our belly's full, we walk through the store to inspect the fresh cut meats, and decide what we're going to bring home! Large selection to choose from! Recommend getting a pack of their smoked sausage, it's great in gumbo and red beans! If you don't have time to sit and eat, they have ready to go lunch boxes! I'm so happy to have found this hidden gem! Don't forget to buy some fudge at the convenience store register for the ride home!!

Fun place to stop. Country store and gas station with a Butcher shop known for deer processing. Attached is a big buffet style restaurant serving comfort food, great barbecue ribs. Family style seating in the dining room. Lots of locals in the restaurant attest to how good the food is.

I usually don't comment with competitor options, but, if you want the best Boudin in the state of Louisiana, it's not too far from this place T-Rey's is so much better. I would hope this place would start looking at their products and putting a little bit more care into it.

As a child growing up in New Orleans I remember by grandfather from New Iberia coming to visit frequently. I have a lot of fond memories from his visits, but one of the things I remember is applicable to this review. Whenever he would arrive he would have several gifts for the family. I'm not talking about traditional gifts either. He would bring several packs of boudin and hogs head cheese from a local New Iberia shop. That must have had a lasting effect, because since then, I am on a never ending quest for good boudin and head cheese. I was on such a quest just the other day when I noticed Boudreaux's. The moment I walked in, I knew I was in the right place. There were coolers filled with stuffed chickens, roasts, pork loins, gumbo, étouffée and all other sorts of Cajun delights. In the fresh counter is where I focused my attention and will elaborate on a few items. Boudin - fresh, homemade and with the perfect combination of meat and rice. It had a slight kick, but not to overwhelming. Stuffed chicken thighs - stuffed with jalapeño cream cheese and wrapped in bacon. $375 for around 30 minutes covered and 20 uncovered. Oh my goodness gracious was this delicious. Even if you don't normally like thighs, I strongly recommend this item. Smoked boudin - I don't remember smoked boudin when I was growing up, but what a great idea. Boudreaux's version was perfect. Smoked sausage with pepper jack cheese - whatever you do, but some of this sausage. The sausage is made and smoked in house and this is, without a doubt, the best smoked sausage I've ever had. I don't know how it hod hold up in gumbo or some other dish, but it is amazing on its own. The people working behind the counter were friendly and very helpful. If you're like me and miss the Cajun butcher shops of Acadiana, I recommend you take a trip to Boudreaux's.
