Carbonara was really good and had shaved truffles on it The stuffed Cannolini and it was extremely smokey and the cheese inside became kind of tough and gummy, it was the only thing I would not order again. Overall the place was solid and I wish I got to try some wines. Next time Wouldn't recommend since there were better spots.

And I promise to keep up the search for an address to add to the listing. First to review (FTR) a new fabulous local biz in Napoli!!! I live for stuff like this. I love this place. They have wine to purchase by the bottle to either take home or enjoy in their cute little side shop (note: they have cheese plates as well!) Most important: they have my beloved Lacryma Christi Del Vesuvio. While this is probably par for the course in Napoli, it is something special for me, as I first tried this on my last visit to Naples and have been obsessed ever since, to the point of begging wine stores in NYC and NOLA to pretty pretty please carry it. That aside, I hope the locals love this new wine shop as much as this visitor to your fine city, Napoli!

BF's platter had: caprese tomato/mozzarella combo with seasoned olive oil and side of pesto, meatballs, grilled cheese and a quinoa salad. Both platters were fresh and tasty. Perfect portion for a light lunch and a true taste of the region. Perhaps a tad overpriced since it was a bit touristy here, however, I think I preferred this app sampler to that of La Uascezze and I loved that place, so it was worth it. Plus, it was a great way to kill a few hours and look out at the sea.

It is not in a touristy part of town at all, you wouldn't think it was much just from the outside, but once inside it is beautiful. The atmosphere is very romantic and the food - delicious. It's not your typical kind of restaurant though. Basically you get a choice of meal sized antipasto dishes - you'll enjoy cured meats, cheese, bruschetta, different types of pickled or marinated or sun-dried vegetables, wonderful wine, and amazing locally made honey and marmalade to accompany the different types of cheeses. Oh, and the dessert is fantastic so make sure you treat yourself! It is WELL worth it. The host, Yuri, was an absolute delight. He spent a lot of time with us making sure we were happy and got the right types of dishes for us, and regaled us with stories about his favorite place in the world, Napoli. We had no interest in going there but after talking to him, we are now very excited to plan our trip. Basically you go to Vincanto to experience a different way of eating, a beautiful ambience, wonderful wine, and delightful hosts. We very much enjoyed our night here and you will too.
