Pictures, brochures and videos are all helpful but they put the best angles and views to sell the apartment. Too often I have wanted to run to get an apartment from the photos but when I got there it was a different story: Poorly maintained lawns, broken screens, very poor curb appeal. I'm no longer taken in by internet or photos, I go to the reviews first. So this is my review of Carrington Lane. What you see is what you get and more. The curb appeal is pleasing to the eye, the maintenance crew do a magnificent job and respond quickly to any need, the buildings are all in tip top shape and very recently renovated, the huge oak trees give you a feeling of being up north and yet the palm trees remind you that this is beautiful Florida. Whatever you need is rarely more than an 8 minute drive to such places as the mall, theaters, Home Depot, all sorts of restaurants and shopping. Should you need any medical care there are Urgent Care Facilities, a hospital and yes for Veterans a nearby large clinic. The downtown area is special to walk through, view the old but never abandoned building and store fronts, the park and so much more. You will never be bored. If you enjoy horses, tour the many horse ranches and mansions on a scenic drive. There is plenty to do in Ocala. I left the best to last. You can have nice buildings and grounds, pretty trees and amenities but if you don't feel it's home, it's not anything. Here is where Caitlin, Rebecca and Lindsay come in. They are the three women who make Carrington Lane not merely a house to live in but a home to enjoy, have fun and be proud to say: I live at Carrington. A lot of apartments offer something special at Christmas, Easter and other major holidays. Carrington Lane does that too but so much more. They are like thinking 24/7, how can we make our residents involved, happy and yet not be intrusive. They do it. There are so many things to do if you wish, or if you simply want to remain closer to home and your lovely screened in patio, that's fine too. You do what you want to do. However, no one can say the staff is uncaring or not helpful, they go far beyond the call to assist you and always with a smile. This is a long review, but before closing why not go to Face Book and check out the 200 plus photos of the many activities Lindsay, Rebecca and Caitlin put on for your enjoyment from Coffee Day, Free Lunch Day, Dress up and Dress down day, Blood Drive Day, Pizza Day, Donut Day, Brewery Day, Fashion Day and so much more. They do all of this in addition to their responsibilities in the office. I hope you found this review somewhat helpful. I don't work for Carrington Lane, I don't have stocks in the facility, I just know a good thing when I see it, and indeed Carrington Lane is good, very good.

After Inquiring about Few Properties in OCALA Florida via homes.com I received a text on 2-24-2026 on my cell that property at 3892 SW 128th Lane was rented see images attached on 2-25-2026 I received an email from same people to schedule a showing on the same home. See images attached When I reached out to confront Ana Goya Property manager Broker Associate about as to why the listing was not updated that multiple application have been received she avoided me and dropped me like a Plague see images As of this review the property is still being advertised as available see images attached so folks you can look at the attached images and decide for your self. Unfortunately many companies in State of Florida are guilty in generating revenue in such shady dishonest way. And I took the time to write this actual review to help anyone I can to avoid this dishonest dealing it is brokers responsibility to notify general public and immediately update listing on all platforms that back up applications are being accepted and absolute duty to let general public know that an application has been received paid for and pending and or working so that people don't submit and pay for applications without ever having a chance to actually be considered for a home on other pretense otherwise.... This is So Lame.

Avoid Real Property Management Diversified especially Lee Kerr is a bad combination. Sold us out for a few hundred dollars when they were property managers of our rental. Dan Henderson (owner) cares much less regardless if you are an owner or tenant. Copied him on few emails pleading for return of our few hundred owners reserves and never replied or reached out. When finally got him on the phone never even tried to listen neither asked about complaint. Is this RPM's The Neighborly Done Right Promise is about? If so, then run away from this owner.

We told our realator, Suzanne Slowey, what we wanted and what area we wanted to be in. We found our home, put a bid on it and it was accepted within a week. We flew back to California. Suzanne worked with us, long distance, every step of the way. She was efficient and very professional. She was availabe for questions and always got back to us quickly. I would highly recommend Suzanne Slowey for anyone that is buying or selling a home in Ocala Florida or the Villages. Than you Suzanne.

    The agent who represented us out of state buyers also represented the seller, never again. So many…read moreimportant details were not disclosed, including the square footage was much smaller than the listing stated. The agent would only give us a 2 day due diligence knowing we were across the country. The house was also supposed to be furnished, not even close. The seller left some thrift store junk and the house so was so filthy, garbage cans in the garage filled with rotting trash. So many lies the agent told us even said when asked why the seller was selling, he said "his wife died", another lie. Found out the seller had harassed neighbors; he is banned from the community. I tried calling the agent, never returned my call so I called the Broker at this office, he was nasty & very defensive, so I immediately knew the whole thing was bad. Nothing was pleasant with this experience.

    Unfortunately, after wasting much of my valuable time and being given lots of empty promises by the…read moreowner Josh, I was told I had to sign a legally binding contract drafted by his attorney (which he never read nor understood). This contract had nothing to do with anything we had agreed upon and then after requesting several times that it be changed to reflect our oral agreements, the same contract was sent to me over and over while I was told it was fixed. I gave Josh a lucrative opportunity to earn some good cash on short term rental investments and he demanded a pretty hefty percentage, meanwhile I was the one doing all the legwork, finding tenants, getting everything ready and he couldn't even get his contract straight and it was completely one sided giving him all the protections and me with nothing I had asked for. Then at the end, he knew I was leaving the country in 2 days and he completely ghosted me (after telling me he needed to change the contract). The things Josh was asking me to agree to in his contract were not fair and did not represent any of his duties to me. He would say things like "Well that is an oral contract between us but I am not putting that n writing". However, he went overkill on focusing only on his commissions and his "lack of liability", lack of responsibility, etc. I guess he thought he was going to coerce me into accepting his ridiculous contract thinking I was up against a wall when he ghosted me at the last minute before leaving to Europe when he was supposed to take over managing my property. However, I have a friend who stepped up and is more than willing to do the job for a fraction of what he was trying to charge me. His contract completely contradicted everything we had agreed upon beforehand. It's more of a shame for him, he will be the one missing out on his best paying opportunity but no shame for me to find out and not get stuck signing something that makes no sense for me and gives up all of my rights as a property owner and gives him everything he wanted. Unfortunately he has all of my personal information now, like my social and other things but I will be keeping an eye. He was a good actor and it just goes to show that you really can't trust anyone, even the people you think come across as trustworthy. So glad I found out now vs. later. After reading the ridiculous contract his attorney drafted with all of these additional "fees and penalties" which were never discussed beforehand, it left a bad taste in my mouth and many visible red flags. His loss, onto finding someone real and honest, who does what they say will do and stands by their word. Again, shame on him.
