    I just spoke with somebody at Fidelity customer service. He was a customer service manager, but he…read moredidn't tell me his name. He was very rude, condescending, he kept questioning if I was myself or somebody else even after I verified myself with two other customer service representatives. He kept over talking me, he kept interrupting me, he asked me a question and before I got a chance to answer, he would ask another question or say something rude and condescending back. I am withdrawing my investment, even accepting a $2000 penalty because I don't wanna do business with them anymore because they are rude and they are not helpful and just downright unprofessional. It sad me to think this is what this country is coming to. Terrible customer service, unprofessionalism, and just a plain disregard for humanity. The customer service manager hung up on me after I was nothing but polite and professional and respectful.

After her passing, I contacted Fidelity and ask if the funds would be locked up for a period of time. I was told no and that I had full control. I sent them a copy of the death certificate and requested that they do a cost step-up on her investments. That happened the day they received the forms. After that, I issued checks to the beneficiaries.
