I can't say enough good things about the LaCross crew. Jesse is a very friendly and kind guy, and, unlike a previous review, I found Jesse's response time and followup time incredibly fast. If I gave him a call or sent him a message, he would always follow up immediately. He is also very flexible! He took his time and worked with me on ideas and budget, and when I changed my mind about something halfway through the project, he was totally flexible and his crew was there at 8:30 the next morning switching things out for me. The LaCross crew was at my home for a couple of weeks and every single one of them was friendly, respectful, and very hardworking. At the end of every workday, their materials were left neatly organized and our property was totally cleaned up. Having a large landscaping project like this in the middle of the summer could have been disruptive, but these guys worked very hard and quickly, were super responsive and friendly, and made the whole experience an enjoyable and successful one! One writing called them "facing extinction" and most of us thought they went OOB. They never did. In fact, they are over 100 years old and kicking! Even back in the day when they closed thousands of stores and endured multiple bankruptcies, they still trekked along. This location is going strong, especially since relocating from the old K-mart mall on M-66. The folks I met were down home friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There is a little cell phone activity, but this is still the place where you pick up all your electronic repair needs. Rows of capacitors, diodes, switches and the boards to assemble them on. I didn't get through the entire store today (it's pretty a big place and Mrs. E was on the warpath to go to Thursday farmers market). But I bought a new soldering iron and a Volt/Ohm meter. The prices are pretty decent. I did notice a gentleman repairing what looked to be an android. They can replace batteries and do repair work on cameras and tablets. Probably more. 10/23
