This year, my almost 90 year old mother found errors in her return, and then I found more. First, an office staff member tried to snow her with some lame excuse which was an outright lie (that once upon a time the original bank name was Philadelphia Coke). Disgraceful. I tried speaking with the staff member with my mother on the phone with me. She is incredibly rude and interrupts you in the middle of your questions. On my mother's behalf with my mother's permission, I had several questions that I wanted Mr. Ron Davis to answer, so left him easily 5 messages to return my call. He has never returned my call to this day. They did correct her tax return accurately, but that experience immediately had me seek out a different accountant for my '23 tax return services. I no longer recommend them. Sloppy, rude, unprofessional.

Though I had many recommendations and referrals for other accountants, I chose to work with Rose because I chose to specifically support a woman and minority owned business. One piece of advice from Erin Benzakein from Floret about hiring a bookkeeper and accountant was that if you feel dumb or awful after meeting with either, then it's time for you to hire a new accountant/bookkeeper. I was having a hard time managing my own bookkeeping and was inquiring about this service. I met with Tara and she was condescending, defensive, and was gaslighting me when I started crying on the call after she went on a diatribe about the importance of bookkeeping. I also disagreed with her statement that "Bookkeeping is the backbone of your business." Unfortunately, Rose was also on the call and there wasn't any intervention.
