They also sold cannoli and macarons, coffees, and jarred food items. We started our wait at the bridge, which didn't look too long from there. Once we reached the door, I saw that the queue continued to snake inside. I waited an hour to finally order. They make tiramisu freshly daily, including different flavors. I felt compelled to try all 3 that they had in stock at the moment. I noticed that the flavors did switch up while I was there as employees appeared to be making new batches with a pistachio colored cream. I tried the classic tradition, amaretto & almond milk, and hazelnut. Call me crazy but the the traditional one was my least favorite of the 3. Sure, it was a tasty tiramisu, but this is the best in all of Venice? The other 2, however, exceeded my expectations. The hazelnut tasted like a Ferrero Rocher, and the amaretto & almond milk was my favorite since I'm a huge fan of marzipan type of flavors.

I yelped it and discovered it was one of the top places to experience excellent tiramisu. I picked out the classico and pistachio flavors. The pistachio was the winner but both were delicious. It wasn't overly coffee- espresso tasting but luscious, light, and creamy. It was definitely worth standing in that line and luckily, the line does move fairly quickly.

Ive always found the best drinking white wines of Italiy to be in the Friuli region. Radikon is one of those rarer makes of "orange" wine where white wine is done with some skin fermentation to give it that orange color and some red nose/palate characteristics. I got to meet one of the makers a while back and taste a good number of his wines. Similar to those oxidized wines from Jura, it's certainly an acquired taste (even more so than wine is already). However if you're looking to educate yourself on how vast wine really is, Radikon will definitely take you into a far corner of a sub genre that makes wine education and enjoyment so vast.
