The Bible is precious. A church & its sermons should be preoccupied with God's Word which Scripture…read moresays is "sharper than a two edged sword".... This church is NOT "preoccupied" w/God's Word. Rather, the pastor is far too fond of his views & coddling away from discomfort. If you are looking for a place to hear a pastor's view of life & "feel" comfortable .... go here! If instead ready to be challenged & transformed by the renewing of your mind via God's Precious Word go elsewhere. Honestly, the fact they don't call it Rancho "Christian" church is appropriate from what I didn't hear there. Christianity is centered on Jesus Christ & the magnitude of Father God's sacrifice of His Son... there are expectations related to that sacrifice. (No side-stepping it). "Work out your salvation w/fear & trembling" is not to be treated as an optional side show. Disappointing

Rachel enlisted other church members to berate and belittle me because I don't have the same views they do. I don't want to believe that the entire church is this way but from those I have interacted with it was very cult like and not accepting of others or their views. I hope that I am wrong and a few bad apples haven't spoiled the bunch.

The grounds were breathtaking and the people were friendly enough (i am typically standoff-ish so no judgement on them). In fact I appreciate them not being overly friendly and risk making me uncomfortable. I love the amount of structure they have put into their collective efforts within this building and I feel that it is an adequate reflection of the values of a truly Bible believing church. Its enough structure without being "legalistic". I saw some rather one sides one star reviews of this place and am glad I had the opportunity to come and see for myself and form my own opinion. I have been formally rebuked in my hometown and by the local churches in that area and today was my first time in a new church in a new community and though I was absolutely nervous showing up (and had to fight with myself to stay) I am glad I did. Well worth the effort and an absolute pleasure to say the least. Looking forward to mens bible study group tomorrow!

On multiple occasions, I have noticed that their staff seems unwelcoming to children. Not only do they not allow children in the sanctuary, but I have also experienced difficulty when my child was on the outside, the back area, supervised and not in Sunday school. When I politely approached staff member/usher, Jeff regarding these rules, he became very hostile, even telling us to leave the church, watch the service from home, or find another church. I just wanted to understand why would the outside area be under such rigid and unreasonable standards, when there is a sanctuary and inside area for absolute silence and no movement-allowed policies. These interactions have created an uncomfortable environment/atmosphere, which is disappointing. Being spoken to in this manner is unacceptable in any setting, and particularly alarming within a Christian church. It would be beneficial if CCBF could foster a more inclusive atmosphere that appreciates the presence of children as part of the community. I hope this feedback encourages them to reconsider their approach, as a more welcoming environment could significantly enhance the experience for families.

St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Church on Whispering Heights Pkwy in Winchester is a lovely gem…read morewithin a densely populated residential area. I've visited a couple times as part of the congregation, and two other times (to play for a funeral and to cover for a Sunday Mass). Fr. Tom Burdick was welcoming and provided a wonderful Homily during all my visits here. And Laura was also welcoming and informative for me as an outside musician. The church has a very open layout and a really nice audio/visual system. There's plenty of parking and it was easy to get in and out of. A very lovely church and friendly people, welcoming staff, spacious layout, and beautiful music and homilies.

She had us wait over a year to register our daughter for the teen 1st communion & confirmation program (until she was in high school) and told us that as long as she was baptized and enrolled in the program she would be able to pick a date for her quince and could be held there. We enrolled her as instructed once she hit 9th grade and now she has been told there will be no quinceañera bc she has to have her 1st communion prior. It took a long while to get our daughter back into church after all unfortunate events that had her lose her faith and now she has been misled. We fear that this disappointment will result in starting over. When I discussed our past communications she indicated that she was under the assumption my daughter had attained her 1st communion, although this was clarified several times and she is enrolled in the program to attain this, which makes zero sense if she already has this. The information is inconsistent, I believe this Parrish is all ab money and is very much deceptive.
