Zero Stars, actually…read more Christina sold one of my father's condos within a few days of listing, years ago. He hired her again, recently, to sell another condo which I had been managing for him. She got to work quickly upon signing the contract. But within a week I we had a communication break down and got into a power struggle. I had been navigating an issue with tenants in the condo. The carpet had been damaged by a pet and they wanted to negotiate on the repair, rather than trusting me to fix it using the damage deposit. The tenant was not happy with me deciding to use the damage deposit for the repair, and they expressed discontent about us listing the condo for sale. The next day the tenant notified us that Christina had organized an open house (of which me and my father were not aware) and that they were not comfortable with this. They noted being open to showings with 24hrs notice but not an open house. In order to work towards repair with the tenant I agreed that this was not a good time for an open house and that 24hrs notice for showings was reasonable. I communicated this to Christina, via text, letting her know that we had been having conflict with the tenant and that it wasn't a good time for an open house. The next day she texted and let me know the open house was going well (fml). I asked her to call me and I asked her why she continued with the open house given the situation with the tenants. She responded by denying that there was any conflict with the tenants and that everything was "peachy." (Wtf) I wasn't in the mood for being gaslit that day so I hung up on her, to which she replied via text "as someone having a child your age, I strongly suggest you check our manners." (I'm 40, btw). Today, 3months later, I saw and spoke to her for the first time at the condo (she didn't make any effort to repair the relationship or address communication difficulties, btw). There was an HVAC repair person there with me. She criticized us for re-renting the condo (in the absence of a sale), she blamed me for not communicating with her (even though she wasn't responding to any of my outgoing messages) and she yelled at me and threatened to "track me down" after I said I would write her a google review. I didn't even say I would write a negative review or a nasty review. A truthful account of this embarrassing drama-fest is all that's needed, here. She told the HVAC guy to "watch out for that guy (me)" and she slammed the door on her way out (So much drama). The above is only two times (out of maybe 5 times total) I've interacted with Christina Hagerty (only once in person). You'd think she might want to be professional in interacting with clients (sarcasm). It's been drama since the first week, and I have very little drama in my life. My job requires me to have strong communication skills and to work with difficult situations and people. I'm not saying I don't have conflict with other humans. The conflict just rarely turns into drama for me, and that's the way I like it. I have patience for people that are willing to be honest and respectful in conflict. But I do not have patience for Christina Hagerty's bullshit, especially when she's the one earning a commission from our sale.

Upon completion of our project, drains in our window wells were left covered at completion of construction which caused our basement to flood during a significant rainstorm. This was not covered by the New Home Warranty program because it was deemed to be a construction defect. Initially Sunset Homes refused to take appropriate action in dealing with resulting damage from their error. By the time they agreed to address the issue, mold had developed in our basement. Despite repeated requests, back up detail for $35,000 in material billings has not been provided. 8 months after moving into our home, Sunset had still not completed all of the items on the final punch list. I would no longer recommend Sunset to anyone building in the city

Very Poor experience dealing with Willemina Montgomery and Emily Slobodzian from Renzo realestate…read more my wife (who is new to Canada) and I - faced personalized and disparaging comments like "I would never live in the area of the city you are looking to buy a house in," (anywhere in east Calgary) Unfortunately we can't afford a million dollar home at the moment. I felt we were looked down upon By both Willemina and Emily. We also missed an opportunity to close on the house of our dreams because team Renzo didn't bother calling my wifes phone at a very critical hour. Team Renzo came off snooty and unprofessional. I can not recommend them, especially for anyone looking to purchase in east Calgary.

The whole time they were patient, optimistic, shared our enthusiasm and reassured us that we weren't the worst clients ever. Haha The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic! Michael ended up getting us a good deal on the townhouse we picked and when we moved in he came by with wine and monogrammed/embroidered plush robes and some other swag! Since then they've continued to follow up to see how we're liking the place and how things were working out with things like the condo board. I really can't say enough positive things about the experience or the team! Especially Michael. We will 100% be customers for life and can't wait to work with them again. 10/10 recommend them! Don't hesitate if you're looking for a realtor. They're the best around!
