I went to the Villagers a few months back, and before getting there I was very hungry.
We were there early, and sat by the bar, having a drink and waiting to be seated.
We waited nearly 45 minutes, before another couple got up and just sat at a table.
So I felt abit put off, by the fact that you weren't really advised on what to do. We didnt want to just sit down, and then be told not too.
Anyway, onto the Food. In all honesty, I cannot complain about the food. You have a menu to choose from, but also there is a Buffet for around £15 pp.
We opted for the Buffet, and it was a mix of rice, popadoms, ribs, curries, and chips. And a few other items.
It was lovely, I really enjoyed the food. But having been so hungry and then having to wait, I dont feel I got had my moneys worth. (Not wanting to eat loads)
I would recommend the restaurant, but its better for a small group, than a couple.
I'd go there again. read more
