Owner and Chef Theresa has invested a lot to make the restaurant and property beautiful. Chef and I share the same Polish heritage and Perogies are a staple. That is what brings me back here. To sit in an historical place and enjoy the best Perogies I have ever eaten. Perfectly filled, prepared, and served in a delicious butter sauce with sautéed onions. We also enjoyed the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Pita which was full of flavor, as well as the gooey Broccoli Cheddar Soup. I also, enjoy the Salmon with Horseradish sauce over a bed of risotto, and spinach. My wife had the grilled Romain salad which was very unique and tasty. All in all each visit to the Inn has been pleasant with great service, and food. Give it a try. Thanks Theresa for your Air Force Service and making this place amazing.

Opting for the loft suite next to the main Jailhouse, we got settled in after re-reading the easy-to-follow instructions from our hosts. The loft features high ceilings and my wife compared it to staying in a treehouse. The room was immaculate and had several amenities, like a coffee pot and a microwave, so one could enjoy breakfast in-house if that was in your plans. There's also an adorable breakfast nook under a window looking out over the trees. Yellow Springs, Ohio is certainly my kind of quirky and lived up to expectations. From Jailhouse, it's a short walk, say five minutes, down to the heart of the town, and the famed Little Miami trail. This is a perfect location for those hoping to enjoy what the town has to offer. Affordable, convenient, and excellent service from the proprietors. Highly recommended.

My husband and I wanted to spend a quiet evening in Yellow Springs…read more He heard about this place and read great reviews. Plus it is very historical. When we pulled up, we were amazed how beautiful this building is. The landscape was gorgeous(they have a garden area) and love the color of the building. The owner was great with communication, paid credit card over the phone and did not have to check in through a lobby/front desk, put in a code on the front door. That easy. We got the suite which was on the top floor. We walked in and loved it. It was newly renovated and really clean. Awesome decor. It did not feel like a hotel. There was a kitchen, (pots pans, utensils refrigerator, filtered water) and a keurig coffee maker (which is a bonus), widescreen tv (in living room and bedroom), dining area, extra toiletries if needed, extra towels, and building is solar energy My only con was the bed was not comfortable and the hot water did not stay long if you wanted to take a bath. I would highly recommend this place if you would like to stay in Yellow Springs. Only minutes away from downtown.

The Bed and Breakfast is named after his daughter, each room has a bathroom, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are nice. Easily controllable temperature. We were 20 minutes from Yellow Springs, Ohio which is a small town with fabulous food and a variety of cute artsy shops. There's beautiful hiking down to the Springs too, or you could head over to Clifton Gorge just a few minutes away. We hiked in the gorge and then went to lunch at the historic Clifton Mill built in 1802. Absolutely gorgeous. There are a little art theaters in Yellow Springs and Clifton and Dave Chapelle's comedy club. If you are traveling with children, don't forget to stop at Young's dairy... Ice cream, kiddies rides, and a petting zoo!!!

Recently renovated, it is a delight to the eye, with its antique and vintage furniture, perfectly chosen colors, and tasteful ornamentation. The common area downstairs, where a healthy and fresh continental breakfast is available every morning, is both lovely (I particularly loved the rocker) and comfortable. Our upstairs bedroom had not only vintage furnishings, but also welcome modern elements, such as the king-sized bed and wide-screen television - and there was plenty of drawer and hanging space. Every detail evidenced the care and taste of our host, Jim, from the lovely bed linens and ample towels, to the selection of personal toiletries in the elegant (and spotless) marble bathroom. Who expects a glorious white orchid on the vanity? And on the subject of the host, Jim is all we could have wished for. In addition to his attentive hospitality, as a long-time resident of Yellow Springs, he knows its history, its people, and its stories; and he is generous in sharing information about places to eat, shop, see art, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area. We learned quickly that pretty much everyone in town knows and loves Jim and is eager to welcome his guests. Three Ten is a not-to-be-missed lodging experience. in a delightful town.

Anyway, Patty was a wonderful host who took great care of us (even through the town/village of South Charleston losing elec. power for a couple-three hours in the late afternoon-evening) and served us, and another group of 5 cyclers going the other direction (south) on the same 326 mile Trail, a wonderful, freshly made breakfast the next morning.
