I did not get a tattoo or piercing or use any of this shops services. What makes this review 5…read morestars was the quality of service I believe was right for a customer to receive. The inside is welcoming and clean. The front desk person went to find where the artists keep their portfolios located. Which led the owner, Mick, coming out front and finishing up with a client. I had overheard that the shop was booked until May. That made me leave because I would be gone by then. Mick, even while attending to a customer, asked about where I was going and suggested of a shop at the very state I'll be going to. That to me was what led me to write this. Her knowledge and suggestion on the fly like that to me showed her passion and dedication to the craft. Thank You Dragon Moon

it's amazing going down the comments for this business and seeing everyone giving them five stars…read moreand giving them amazing ratings I guess I'm the only one who had a bad experience there lol but just a reminder they do great work if you want a great tattoo, I would go there, but be specific on how much you wanna pay because they will not hesitate to you want a tattoo like for example I paid $500 plus a $100 tip for a tattoo that was worth no more than $250 just a little reminder of the little shady practices this business does/and also they might deliver great customer service and a nice view to your face, but I'm telling you guys they will swindle you out of your money like I would not leave your purse alone in there like that's the vibe they gave me they seem pretty gritty and money hungry/oh, and also the inside of the business is very dirty. It doesn't look like it's been cleaned and 30 years and it doesn't look like the inside has been renovated for longer than that. It's actually really disgusting environment.

Altered Image - Amazing work by Kez. She took my idea 2 levels above and beyond one what I had in mind and made it a reality.

I stopped by with a friend in search of some quality replacement jewelry for my newly healed Septum…read morepiercing. When we arrived an employee was outside on his smoke break. He politely greeted us and asked if we were getting a tattoo or piercing. We told him we just wanted to buy jewelry. He told us to go on inside and that he or his co-worker would help us ASAP. I was fairly surprised that he was soo nice, often times when I go to a shop just to buy an item employees act a bit annoyed because they know they wont make much money from me. The person who waited on us was very knowledgeable and patient. Though my friend and I browsed for quite some time we took a long time to come to a decision. While we tried to decide on the pieces we wanted we asked questions and joked with the people who worked there. The atmosphere was very welcoming and laid back, like a tattoo and piercing place should be. Often times when you walk into a shop you get the feeling that you've barged into a club house uninvited. My friend and I didn't get that vibe at all. Nothing's worse than getting a tattoo and piercing by a mean person in an uncomfortable and awkward establishment. The jewelry was fairly priced at $10 per and the person who helped us out offered really good advice. This shop is a bit out of the way for me but I will defiantly go back to get piercings in the future.

Not only did I get a consultation, but the artist did a great job on the tattoo! I have to go back to get it completed, and I can't wait. I've found my new artist for any upcoming ink work for myself in the future!!

LOVE that I'm the first Yelp review :) but absolutely 100000000000/10 would recommend this place…read morefor both piercing and tattoos! The first time I went in I had my nose piercing fixed because it had fallen out and it was pretty new so I was struggling trying to put it in myself. Ray 1) came in on his day off 2) was super friendly and got it done in 2 minutes without any pain! I decided to come back and get 3 quotes done on my spine, collarbone and side boob because the staff was just so friendly the first time around - and again, so happy with the service and the work. Ty did my quotes and I normally have a very low pain tolerance but he was super gentle and I never felt any discomfort or pain. Another thing I loved about this place was that they take walk-ins/aren't backed up on appointments like most places in the city. I'm definitely coming back here to get more done!!!!

I have a lot of old tattoos, when my artist passed away I didn't trust anyone to do my work. Just from a piercing I went back to see about getting a cover up. Cody and Ray immediately got to work on ideas and they didn't stop until they came up with something that fit. Carlos did my tattoo, mind you its been 10 years since I had one. But he reminded me why I loved them so much. He matched it perfectly, light handed and done so intricately. Even with just the outline it already looked amazing, then no words could describe how great it looked and how you can't even tell the mess that he covered up that I wanted so badly gone. I HAVE FOUND MY NEW ARTIST!. Thank you guys, this means so much, how much time and details you worked on for me, meant everything Thank you and you know i will be back for more.

She switched out one of my piercings for me too. It's a tender conch piercing that hasn't quite healed after 3 years and was explaining the latch when I looked and it was already in her hand. I didn't even feel a thing. Literally, she's awesome. If you want piercings, go ask for Mary. Overall the place was really cool, didn't get to check it out too much because I have newly semi disabled legs and walking is only partially my friend now. But it seemed like there was a ton to look at, so go check it out. All the staff we talked to were really nice, even when they were declining a specific type of piercing my boyfriend has just because they hadn't really done many (or any maybe, can't remember) and they suggested someone with a bit more experience. So that was really nice and professional of them. Better to say the limits out loud than try something you're not 100% on. But I def recommend the place. Go check out the art, get a piercing from Mary and maybe a tattoo on your way out haha. My recent experiences told me to live my life and stop waiting to do the things you wanna do!
