This is after I received an email it was ready. I drove the 45 minutes to pick it up, so wasted trip. I asked if they could ship it for free after not having item ready and being defective. They said No and it would cost me 18.00 , I had already paid over 100 to create item. I will say when I had to go back they gave the one we did and a new one they created. But after the lack of consumer service after an issue I would not go back.

Seriously, if you're into the "paint your own", you have to go to this place! Instead of canvas pictures, they have planks, boards and pillows you can paint on that are really nice. First off, the place is super cute. You pick the picture you want to do, pay for it online, and when you show up, they have your boards and templates ready for you. Be prepared to get to work, because you're doing all of the sanding and painting! You get an apron and the paint is water-based, so don't worry if you accidentally get it in yourself. During the class, there is an employee assigned to your table to help you. Ours was great and was helpful in giving us some color recommendations. She also walked around, making sure that we were doing each step right. The results were fantastic. I painted the Charlotte Skyline and I can't wait to hang it in my place! I was there for a birthday, so they sat us all at the same table (make sure you request this if you sign up with multiple people, so you can each pay for your projects, but sit together). There was also a group of women at another table, and a few couples down at the end. You can bring your own snacks and drinks, which I highly recommend. If you live in the center of Charlotte, this place is definitely worth the drive!

I wanted my toddler to get an opportunity to socialize with other kids and learn to make something new. Instead what we got were four different parent/self-led arts & crafts stations. The two women there walked around and encouraged the kids with "good jobs", but they didn't actually do anything else. My toddler was still happy at the end and said he had fun, but then again he has fun collecting rocks. Honestly, if this is what their other classes are like, I'm better off using the $35 class fee on my own art materials. I'm bummed because it seemed so awesome to have this place near us.

Dr. Whitelaw has raised the bar in terms of what to expect from piano lessons. She is SO amazing with us -- my kids have a ball with her and have grown as little pianists in just the weeks that we have been seeing her. I was a little worried about learning piano as an adult, but Dr. Whitelaw assured me that it is more common than you'd think and I feel much more comfortable knowing that she has years of experience (and a ph.D in musicology!) wow. Having her come to the home is especially convenient with our busy work/school schedule. I am SO happy she expanded to Cornelius and my neighbor is starting with her next week!
