I am pretty sure he is actually a wizard. This is the one place where I get compliments every time I leave with a new cut or color. It's also one salon where I feel totally comfortable that the staff cares about what I want and what is best for me. They never try to pressure me to buy expensive products, but they are great at recommending what will work best if I ask. My color is always spot-on, too. It looks so natural that no one would guess I color it. If you are interested in non-natural colors like blue or pink, they do a great job with that, too!

And so when some greedy merchant takes that away from us, we're done doing business... In fact, they have their annual sale gift cards right now for 20%... In the past I have bought $500 worth because he gets used up in my family quickly... Since they won't waive the greed fee, I have left the card on the table and we are not ever coming back again... You greedy merchants charge enough to begin with and to take away our ability to get some kind of benefit in this economy from our credit cards is absolutely selfish.

Just trim the dead ends. Well what I asked for and what I got were 2 completely different things! My hair is butchered. She cut my long hair to above my shoulders. Then told me, oh you look shell shocked...it's so much healthier looking. Yea because it was all gone. She chopped it, butchered it and then acted like it was no big deal. The receptionist said the charge was $20. Their website claims that children ages 0-5 are age x $2 so I was expecting to pay less than half of the price charged, which we've done before (see attached photo of pricing from their website). I understand that some stylists may charge more, but I should have been told that information when the appointment was scheduled, so that I could have made a more informed decision. I feel like that is a shady way of doing business. I think the best decision at this point would be to never refer or return to salon Avanti.
