I was disappointed with my experience at Tesson Ridge Apartments, particularly regarding their…read moreadvertised "Hometown Hero Program." As a first responder, I was encouraged by the program's marketing and expected that first responders would be welcomed and supported. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect the spirit of what was advertised. The information provided about the program was unclear, and I felt that the benefits and qualifications were not communicated accurately or consistently. The overall impression I received was that first responders are not valued in the way the marketing materials suggest. Potential renters who are considering Tesson Ridge because of the Hometown Hero Program should ask detailed questions and obtain all terms and conditions in writing before making a decision. I hope management takes steps to improve transparency and ensure that the program delivers what prospective residents are led to expect.

After owning 7 homes, we decided to free ourselves from those concerns and burdens. As the saying goes, "been there, done that". We chose instead to become apartment residents. Before selecting our forever home, we researched and checked out 26 apartment complexes in the St. Louis area, and found TR absolutely unique. It's beauty is remarkable, and the amenities are unsurpassed. Most importantly, unlike nearly all residential neighborhoods today, it's truly a community, where residents who choose to participate have the opportunity to come together to share friendship and an enormous range of activities and social events, supported and encouraged by personable professional management. My wife and I are people people, and we've always had many friends wherever we've lived. However, in the 2 short years we've lived at TR, we know more people than anywhere else we've ever lived, and have many many lovely friends. TR is not just a residence, but it's truly a caring, supportive "community". I encourage you to visit and see what life in a true community actually means. You'll not be disappointed. Bob Oidtman

This place is a solid 4 star apartment complex. Pretty AND well kept!…read more It's potentially a 4+ if you like hills, cause you're going to get your exercise here as it's built into a hill - consider it a daily stair master workout to climb the steps from the ample parking lots to your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd floor apartment. Depending on what you're looking for, you can add or subtract points for the following: * It's quiet and you'll see kids playing outside all the time, but not in an annoying or obnoxious way. *There's not a lively social scene onsite or close by. *I would say it's more family oriented. Close by you'll find: *parks *YMCA down the road *St. Anthony's Medical Center down the road *Schnucks, Dierbergs, Walgreens, and misc small businesses, fast food joints, and local okay-ish restaurants *South County mall just a hop, skip, and a jump away *and church/school options - it's the Mehlville District I personally take off one star because they don't have a robust program of organized activities for tenants, but they do offer the following onsite for renters, which is nice: *tennis courts *small playground *decent swimming pool *beautiful clubhouse with amenities: tanning booth, small gym/variety workout equipment, small computer room, DVDs, and breakfast served there every Friday am *gazebo (not sure why, but it's pretty) *picnic tables and grills in various spots throughout the complex *fenced in (small) dog walking park *garages, limited availability and for an added rental fee *some units have built in washer/dryers-yay, yay, yay! The management team is courteous and friendly. The grounds are very well kept and there's lots of green space, trees, and floweing bushes. Any maintenance and repair requests are done within 24 hours of reporting and/or begun if the project is a bit more extensive. It is in South County, right off Tesson Ferry. It has close and easy access to 270 and 55, and the traffic in the local area is not bad at all. It's just about 30 minutes away from everywhere if you want fun-city-like stuff to do. I would definitely recommend Southmoor as a place to call home!

She also said they closed at 5:30 p.m. I asked her if I could have brochures to look over and she pointed me to the counter. Never experienced such poor customer service. Didn't catch her name, but her hair looked like she stuck her finger in an electrical socket! Don't waste your time!! Side note: I read the brochure I got MYSELF & was going to call corporate about her horrible attitude....the lawsuits and bad comments about the rental company itself & the complex's they own blew my mind! Kohner Properties! Warning! Do your research before signing here!!!
