Newt was a pleasure to work with, however has missed SEVERAL big key items for the home we…read morepurchased. Since purchasing the home in November, the electricians, plumbers and heating/cooling experts have become like extended family to us. No electrical outlets working on outside of home, no running water outside with an irrigation system that when water was turned on showed a busted pipe. No where to plug in the dryer as when we tried to plug it in the actual receptacle unit fell off of the wall. The washer receptacle had to be redone as it was not what was needed to plug the washer unit in. The wash sink in the basement had deteriorated parts causing a constant leak deeming necessary replacement of all parts. Electrical issues within the home (I.e. a ceiling fan pushed into a recessed lighting hole and wired incorrectly and a recessed light just not wired at all as the wire was left inside the bracket that was holding the ceiling fan up). An a/c / heat pump unit with exposed wires that was not wired properly and does not have wires encased to protect from weather now needed to be rewired properly and encased. The list goes on. While we understand that not every item will be called out on a report, we also find this to be a huge miss. We knew that this house was old and neglected. We knew there would be a laundry list of to-dos. We expected for the inspector to call pertinent items out. All of what we are handling was not called out on our report.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Choice Comfort. Mike provided the most thorough…read moreestimate for a new HVAC system of any of the 4 companies that I called. Because of his knowledge, he found things that no other company noticed. He was able to answer all my questions clearly and in a way that I could understand, even with no knowledge of HVAC systems. He spoke very highly of the installers, which eased my mind and gave me confidence in the company. Finley and Joe were my installers. They showed up on time, introduced themselves and immediately made me feel at ease. It was very apparent to me that they were knowledgeable with the install and that Mike had communicated with them about everything that needed to be done (removing a 1970's era humidifier from my crawlspace and patching the hole). I was pleasantly surprised with how polite both installers were to each other. They routinely checked on each other and told each other thank you. Finley even asked Joe several times if he was getting too hot outside. When Joe had a question, Finley would answer it respectfully. He never seemed bothered or in a hurry but genuinely waned to help. I don't think I would ever see this level of respect in another company. Finley and Joe did a fantastic job on the installation. They were very efficient and organized. They cleaned up the worksite and even made sure that the fence was closed for my dogs. Purchasing a new HVAC system and having strangers in my home that are sawing into my roof could have been so much more stressful than what it was. I cannot thank Mike, Finley and Joe for a seamless and stress-free experience. I will be a customer for life.

Our recent experience with PEAK Environmental, a company that provides air duct cleaning services,…read morewas disappointing. Despite thorough research and positive references, our selection of this company seemed to be a mistake. The initial interaction with one of the owners was positive; however, the service appointment itself was poorly handled. The estimated time of arrival on our date of service was not honored, and our attempts to contact the company were unsuccessful. The owner's explanation for forgetting the appointment was a personal issue. Despite our understanding of unforeseen circumstances and willingness to give the company another chance, our efforts to reschedule were ignored, and we were blocked from further communication. This lack of accountability and customer service is concerning. PEAK Environmental prides themselves on loyalty, communication and good work ethic....all of which were lacking from our experience with them. We are hopeful to find a company who respects our time and our business.
