It's worse than a mental hospital with no rules! We had to have a weapon and travel in pairs. It's thunder dome! Triple lock your doors and put ear plugs in to not hear the screaming. Vacation in Ukraine or Palestine would be more relaxing. Avoid if you like your family!

There's a pool and hot tub, which is a win, and the beds and pillows are so comfortable it's honestly hard to leave in the morning. If I had to dig deep for a complaint, I guess I could say there's no microwave. But unless you're planning to live off popcorn and reheated pizza, you'll survive just fine. After the initial shock of worrying that something bad had happened which could be the only reason the phone rings at 7:30 am I can state that this is the worst customer service experience in a hotel I have ever experienced. I spoke to the Manager and she said I could choose to have a good day or bad day over this. Wow. The poor customer service example starts at the top. No wonder the staff are incompetent at this hotel. Never stay at this Ramada again.

My husband enjoyed the hot tub (limit of 2 people) and a swim in the pool yesterday before we went for dinner. There is no housekeeping service because of covid but you can request any top up of supplies you may require. The room is very clean and well sanitized. The beds are comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Friends of ours are staying at the Grand Okanagan and they are very disappointed as none of the facilities are open and very little staff available so they have a room with no glasses, no chairs to sit on and a phone that does not work. They've had to request the most basic of supplies on numerous occasions. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. There is a nice boardwalk out on the lake and it is a short stroll along the water to their sister property - Eldorado Resort. Finding parking on their lot can be challenging.

Several days later I saw on my credit card that I was charged the whole amount of our stay, which I had already paid through Expedia. I should have only been charged the pet fee & room service. Contacting the hotel was a bit of a hassle. Eventually got my refund. I can imagine this place being really nice and busy in the summer.

If you like consistency, wifi and satellite TV...please move on. This place is not for you. After I was seated, it took over 5 minutes before the server brought me water and to ask me what I wanted (no greeting no pleasantries). I ordered Earl Grey tea and a yogurt parfait. It took almost 15 minutes before it came. The food and tea were good. But the server didn't check to see if I was enjoying the food. The server came back and blandly asked me if there was anything else i wanted. I said, "Just the bill." I waited and waited and then finally stood up and walked towards the entrance, hoping to pay so I could leave as I had been there for almost an hour. I saw another server and asked her if I could please get my bill as I pointed to the table where I had been sitting. It was then that my server came up to me and asked if I needed anything else. With a bemused look I said, "Yes! The thing I asked for already; the bill". She said nothing and got me the bill. I paid while the other server was still standing there and said, "I'm sorry. We are very busy today, which was ironic as I could see at least 6 or 7 tables with no one sitting at them.
