A nice sidewalk around the building if you want to stretch in the middle of your studies, and the interior is large and spacious for indoor stretching if it's 110 outside There is a teen corner that is kind of it's own room, and then there is a larger kids area that is more closed off with slim entries. This does a great job keeping the expected increased noise level of children quelled across the building. Other libraries suffer from this lack of design, so this is a great accommodation for the kids while being mindful of all others in the general space I wish they kept the carpeted ceilings tho lol

The staff is nice and helpful. There was an osteology exhibit this time and it was fascinating and well put together. They have a selection to pick from and all types of seating and studying spaces. Lots of computers for use and I even saw one guy watching a livrary movie on it. Never feels too crowded. I am always worried parking will be a problem, but I have found a close spot everytime I have come. There are homeless who use the facility, but I have never had any issues. None of them seemed to be on anything so security must be monitoring for that.

I'm used to going to rose state college and their library was small when I went to school there…read more Now that I go to UCO, this library is a great place to study. There are so many rooms you can go to for studying. I like going to the fourth floor. No one is ever there. They have whiteboards for studying and rooms you can rent. They even have museum artifacts on the second and third floor I believe. It's a great library and the people that work there are always eager to help.

One of the staff members (a man working at the front desk/checkout area) was extremely rude to us. Instead of offering help or speaking politely, he raised his voice and acted disrespectfully when we asked a simple question. It made my family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Libraries are supposed to be friendly, safe spaces for everyone, but this person's attitude completely ruined the visit. I hope management addresses this behavior so other families don't have to experience the same treatment.

The landscaping is super cute here, and that makes up for the architectural blah; the window views from inside are mostly outwardly facing the lake and garden pathways Lots of enclosed study rooms and they require a reservation; those can be made easily online on their website. You can also call in to see if they have any last minute cancellations if you need a last minute rsvp. Lots of tables with electrical popups on the surface with usb ports and ac outlets The seating is scattered around and there are desks along the west wall. Those desks are first come first serve, and I'm not sure if they are sanitized after each use, but there is sanitizer around the building They have large meeting rooms for events, lectures, seminars, etc and if you're familiar with the OKC Metro Library system then you know they offer tons of these events so check it out on their website. I absolutely love this library!…read more I have a little side business selling stuff online through ebay and other sites like it. I come here at least 3 times a week to print out shipping labels. The customer service staff at the front desk are always friendly and helpful. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and enjoy helping people. I would not be able to make my extra side money without their help. They truly go the extra mile. Aside from the staff, the programs, services, and special events at this library are fun and educational and most of them are free. They offer more traditional events like storytelling for kids but they also offer classes for adults where you learn some new skill all for a very low cost. .
