Had an 8 hour layover in São Paulo and instead of perusing the same few stores for 8 hours we…read moredecided to pay for a lounge. We went to star alliance because I have two passes from United, but as it turns out they are not accepted at Star Alliance. However, the day pass is $50 for one or $90 for two. They charged $35 for our 12 year old son. This was one of the larger clubs so we thought seating would be less of a problem. We were able to grab a corner that we mostly had to ourselves the whole time. The seats were considerably better than airport seats. Though it would have been nice if there spaces where you could lie down for a nap. Likely they can get more people in if you don't lie down. They had a large selection of drinks in the fridge, guarana, coke products, waters, multiple beers. They also had a selection of delicious wines both white and red. There was a selection of whiskeys, vodkas, and other liquor mostly mid level. As well as multiple espresso machines. Food was good, there was a fair selection of of stew, soup, pasta, salad etc as well as fresh pao de queijo and some delicious brigadeiros. I tried the showers which was refreshing after spending a day in the airport and before an overnight flight. The shower rooms were full bathrooms with clean towels and included hotel style shampoos and soaps. I had trouble keeping the water warm, but there were a lot of people using the shower facilities around that time. While it wasn't cheap, the lounge made the long stay a lot more pleasant and provided both lunch and dinner. So overall it was a good deal for us. If you are on a long stay here this is worth your money.

There were plenty of quiet and beautiful spaces to sit and relax. The food options were also pretty good. I decided to take shower so I can relax during the flight. You have to ask for keys from front desk but the showers were pretty big and clean. I would highly recommend this lounge if you have layover in Sao Paulo!

Lovely, classy lounge with great food options, wine options, and ample seating for guests. I had…read morethe fortunate opportunity to visit the LATAM lounge a few times when flying back to the US with Delta (who operates mostly red eyes from GRU). The times when I visited the lounge, it was fairly packed with many noisy American folks heading back to Atlanta, NYC, or Boston on Delta. Despite the apparent chit chatter, I was still able to enjoy my time here. Access to the LATAM lounge can be have any substantial status with LATAM or Delta. For Delta members, if you're Gold or higher and flying either DL or LA internationally, you get access. There's also an option to pay to enter if you don't have status. I believe there's other ways to get in (DragonPass for example), but I am not too sure of those specifics since it didn't apply to me. Most recently, they served one of my favorite dishes- seafood moqueca! It was tasty and reminded me of how I cook mine - with the right amount of umami, dende oil, coconut flavor, and hint of sour from lime. A pretty excellent execution on one of my favorite Brazilian dishes! The shower facilities are also nice. There's quite a few shower stalls... but usually there is a wait, so make sure to put your name on the list for a shower when you check-in up in front. Hope to be back here again next time I'm in São Paulo!

A pretty good lounge for LATAM airlines…read more Despite how crowded it gets, there is enough crowd flow coming in and out. For bathroom, its single stall with a full sink inside each stall. There is a shower, but you will have to ask staff members to use it. For the bar, the bartender isn't always around so you will have to wait. They have kids coloring books! Good air quality/indoor circulation!

First time in this lounge. It is not the best but by no means the worst I have had the pleasure of…read moreusing. There are plenty of seats, although you have to tell people that the seats are for people not for their bags...however precious they maybe. There is a limited supply of food. This encompassed pastries, rolls and soup, how I craved a packet of crisps! The selection of liquid refreshments is good with all your standard hot beverages, would it kill them to add hot chocolate to the roster? The cold drinks are comprised of the usual suspects from the fizzy drinks world alongside Brahma (the Brazilian beer) some vodka, wine, whisky and a sparkling wine. On entrance the staff tell you they do not announce flights and to check the screen. This is my bug bare they only have one screen to check on and it is located right next to the entrance door. So if you are sat at the far end up you get to go and check the screen, please get a couple more!! They have TV's on the wall but I have no idea what programmes were being shown or what language they were in. There was some reading material on offer but I think these were in Portuguese. The rest room (I can only speak about the men's) could use a little freshen up and the locks on the cubicles well it might be good if they worked. There is free wifi within the lounge however I found the airport free wifi covered the lounge and provided a better speed. On the whole not the best and not the worst but as a weary traveller with 3 hours to kill the Smile lounge was a welcome place to get a comfy chair...as all travellers know being able to get a comfortable seat in an airport is like heaven itself if you have hours to kill between flights!!
