When we arrived, the place was…read moreclearly not cleaned properly -- there was dog hair everywhere, on the floors, furniture, and even on the bedding. It made the whole space feel dirty and uncomfortable. On top of that, communication with the rental company was extremely frustrating. It was difficult to get responses, and when we did, they were slow and unhelpful. We reached out about the cleanliness issues and never received a proper resolution during our stay. Overall, this was not the experience we expected or paid for. I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made to both cleanliness and customer service.

Loved the dock and tiki hut . A dolphin greeted us a few mornings . They had everything ! Fishing poles were there and we caught a few fish off the dock .Chairs , umbrellas and coolers for beach . Floats for the pool. 2 kayaks for paddling around tor canal . A tv on the lanai . The bedrooms were all a good size . Beds were comfy . . Very nice bathrooms ! Loved being able to park in garage. What is important is how well those in "control" manage to address the issues. We can truly say that we were very impressed with the effectiveness of Home Rental Systems (especially our contact, Renee) in dealing with concerns we raised. Each one was addressed/corrected within 24 hours. It was really appreciated and totally enhanced our stay.

My sister lives in Florida and yes she did come with her three children for a visit and lunch. They charged me $98 for electricity used!!! The pool was dirty with paint and tiles in the pool from chipping of railings and the wall. My son cut the bottom of his foot on the tile pieces on the bottom of the pool. It was very dirty and several times we mentioned it to the agency. We were told that they would look pool services to have them come out and never did. My husband ended using a kitchen colander to clean the pool as best as possible. The lanai had a broken fan which almost flew off when we turned on the lights. the sliding doors did not have blinds or curtains for privacy and there were three huge ones to the main part of the house. Microwave was dirty and it took 45 minutes after check in time to get into the house since the cleaning crew was still there. Beds were hard felt like sleeping on rocks with very old flat gross pillows. We used our personal beach towels for pillows. Response to calls and emails were useless. Advised to leave key in lock box and they would address it and never was. We Were told owner was out the country. and the Gentleman that came out pretty much said there was nothing he could do since it was not his responsibility. Not sure exactly what was the point of his visit. We were extremely let down.

We rented this home in January 2016 and although the home was promised to be "in working order" upon arrival, we were left with cleanliness issues to deal with and a non-working pool. The home representative checked us in in and stated everything was fine. Once we looked around and tried the pool we notified them immediately that it was not heated. The problem was not fixed until 2 days before we were to leave on a 2 week stay! The rep was so lazy they even tried to get my 81 year old Aunt to fix it with him on the phone. Not once did any of them bother to check the actual pool temp when they came out. Rather, they kept telling us to "wait 24 hours" for it to heat up after each call. The owner refused to give us fair compensation for not having use of the pool the majority of the trip. He even tried to charge us for excess electricity - for the pool pump - on the pool we couldn't use. One big headache for my family! Looks can be deceiving! Find somewhere that stands by their word.

We signed a contract in early April 2026 with this company…read morefor property in Spanish Wells, Bonita Spring, Fl we wanted to rent for the month of February 2027. This contract was confusing and I called and talked to the owner for clarification and he was very patronizing, rude but I really wanted to rent the property based on the pictures and price and signed the agreement in good faith. While visiting my mother in later April we visited the neighborhood and were appalled and upset that the property was not as shown on the pictures. The lanai was dirty, fast food papers thrown on the lawn, paint peeling, piece of glass that was a hazard was propped where someone could get hurt. etc. I immediately call Wischis and talked to Sandy. I told her we could not stay at the property due to the poor condition and the pictures posted on VRBO don't show the true condition of the home. She checked with the owner and he said he would not refund our $1900 deposit since we signed the agreement. He did not reply about the property being in poor condition. It was only three weeks after I signed. I didn't realize it was not refundable . She did say if they re-rented the property they might consider a refund. We gave them over 10 months to re-rent and we can't get an answer back. This is now the end of September . We have disputed this with our credit card company but since we signed the contract they will not back us. This company is unethical and I would warn others to beware. We did get the minimal deposit back from VRBO but Wischis will not respond. So disappointed.
