    Don't waste your time. The Cape Coral Association of Realtors is about and for realtors. If you…read morehave a complaint about ethics or improper action by a member of their association, their job it to protect their own. They are a judge and jury that remains behind closed doors, who's members operate in secrecy, and will supply no substantiation as to why they make their decisions. They claim that this stated secrecy is akin to that of a "grand jury investigation group" but I suspect a "Kangaroo Court" is closer to the truth. They make demands that all submissions be done by mail with the added expense of eight (8) duplicate copies of your complaint for review. Yet their response is nothing more than a simple return email that says, "So sorry, but your pictures which indicated thousands of dollars worth of unreported theft and damage while under contract with with one of our association members is not grounds for an ethics violation, or even a follow up question.". So if you are a member of the community, a property owner, or a tenant with a contract with one of their association members, don't expect anything but having your time wasted.

    My mother resides at the cove at 47th, two days ago ( December 16th ) went to look for a breakfast…read moreorder outside the entrance which was not there. Spoke to Cameron , Sunshine and Keira asking if it may have been left at their office which is right inside. I was told no, then I proceeded to ask about my mother's mailbox key, her move in was September 29th, 2025. This is now December 18th when this interaction occurred. I was harassed by all three associates, when telling them I called USPS and they stated this is a private mail property. The property has to either call a locksmith and or have a member of their maintenance team change out the lock. I then referred to that my mother is 72 years old and I manage her bills and such and her credit has significant impact due to this. My mother is very upset and upset with me due to this. I was told, by the way your mom needs to speak with us. We don't have it, it's a federal mail box and not our problem. I then stated let's call USPS on speaker phone together to get this issue rectified, it's been 3 months and no notification in addition to not having a mailbox key EVER SINCE MOVE IN. I WAS PRESENT at her move in and I assumed the key with the entry door fob was the mailbox key, YET IS WAS NOT. It was to her rear entry street entrance door. I further went on to ask why DID my mom receive a notice to pay or vacate notice from their office for $151.60 the day prior. I stated, my mother asked me to pay it on your portal to not have any further issues and she had high anxiety and was stressed out due to this. How do I find in your portal where these charges were coming from, we do not know. Then asked, Is there a statement or bill that can be created and printed so I can present to my mother for explanation. I was told again, no. Then I asked... can you print out a statement since move in for my mother? They said no. Then I stated can I have her come here, she has a bad hip and can't wait long, how long would this take to be available to not wait? I said, "She can't wait here for someone to help her, she needs it when she arrives". When will this be ready for her pickup if that is the issue. Then, Cameron told me that he was tired of seeing me walking around the building and my stay here has been too long. I repeated I just came in by flight two days prior, basically the 16th. Then I was bullied by Cameron, Sunshine and Keira surrounding me that I needed to leave the property immediately. I was in shock, then in a shorter version told by Cameron you are trespassing and we are calling 911 immediately. I then stated, if you want me to leave your office I will, this is unacceptable behavior. From here, I went to walk out and was told you're not allowed to leave , you need to wait for law enforcement. I said what are you saying, they said you can not go to your mom's home or this property again! Cameron said, I am property manager, I can do whatever I want! Long story short, police came to my moms home, banging down the door with a female and male officer stating to my mom I hope she doesn't have any warrants and I'm dropping her off at the nearest bus station. While this was occurring I was changing out of my pajama's to daily clothes and left out of the other home exit and drove away. Before driving my car out of the parking garage, I was met by Cameron and Keira trying to stop me from leaving the property and irrevocably scarring me to death. Since they already scarred me so much that I was afraid for my life. On top of all of this, Cameron the property manager barged into my mother's home without consent or warning and ran thru her home searching for me later that day. My mom said, if you're looking for my daughter, She left. Completely humiliated, can't sleep, still shaking and crying over what happened. I returned to my home on the first flight from RSW airport and still have tears since my mom only has me to help her and they did this to me and my mom

    1-Star Review Extremely Disappointed - Unfair Charges & Poor…read morePractices | Scam - Do Not Fall For It I had a very disappointing experience with Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group. After living in their property for 3 years and paying high rent, I was shocked by the move-out charges. They deducted thousands from my $6,400 security deposit for things like faded paint, sink usage, and normal wear and tear -- things that naturally occur over time and should not be penalized. On top of that, they tacked on cleaning fees, renovation costs, and other questionable deductions. In the end, I received barely $1,900 back. It feels like a complete scam. They demand a high deposit and then look for every excuse not to return it. This company does not operate in good faith. I strongly advise others to avoid renting from or doing any business with them. Be extremely cautious, and always read the fine print.

As you can expect, we were eager, excited but also looking for the home we would build not only our lives here but also our family. We found Leigh from a friend / coworker and she helped us find our FOREVER home. Within budget. Never did we feel pressured. If anything she reenforced us to be patient..... and we loved that. She was also very courteous of our *tricky* work schedules and went above and beyond to make it easy for us to go look at homes, get in contact with sellers, and just keep us updated on everything going on... not to mention programs to help us save money ! If it wasn't for her we would have never known about the incredible Hometown Heroes Program available in Florida from Mortgage One! I've never seen a realtor who can go through a home and taps on cabinets, doors, appliances, etc., just to test the well-being of the structure, all for our best interest. She wasn't just our realtor, she completely became a friend to us. If you are looking for a realtor Or out here in SWFL, Leigh Cloud is your gal!!

    Please pay attention as costs rise. Worked with this company for several years. My recent…read moreexperience is exactly as follows. My father had a medical injury in early 2024. We decided on February of 2025 to shift agencies (transitioned in March) because rentals were sitting on the market for 4+ months. Inspections were not occurring in reasonable turnaround as well. Moreover tenants who left, left a high balance of $4k+. While there were payment arrangements, no update/notifications regarding actual follow-through on those payments or lack their of payments. In the end, they moved out with high balances and units that needed turnover at much higher costs than their security deposit. The hardest truth of the matter is I had a tenant who was self-managed. However, due to an extenuating medical emergency, the tenant paid at the management office with confirmation they would assist in our family conditions. One month of rent was paid by money orders and filled out by an individual at "their office" to Douglas Realty. Recently reached out to the co-owner of the agency who stated because the property was not under their management, there is nothing they could do. My thoughts are exactly this: while we left Douglas Realty for various reasons, our properties were under their management in July of 2024. Undeniably, someone at their office incorrectly filled out the money order to their agency even though the property was out of our agreement. Specifically reached out to the co-owner after we left Douglas Realty to discuss solution and was told there is nothing they can do. Ask them to kindly acknowledge that this was incorrectly filled out because the tenant could not write or speak English. Even offered to pay commission to have our rightfully earned rental income. However, seemingly spiteful result as the co-owner and property manager stopped responding, after years of service with our family. Simply if some form of solution had been provided been provided in an ethical / fiduciary manner, we would have had more confidence in the mishaps along the way. The fact I was ignored after sending 2 messages regarding this matter is extremely disappointing and disrespectful to a client who offered years worth of business to this office. Enter cautiously and informed about your setting. Happy to say we filed a claim with Western Union and succeeded. Good luck to you!

Donna WALKED into my home and saw it was in great condition and then SAME LADY billed me 5400$!! AFTER FIGHTING CLAIM she said she won't collect difference but will keep my deposit BECAUSE I LEFT!! I supplied notice!! JUST DISGUSTING! I'm taking them to court!! Bad business!
