Today, there's a positive energy in the store with colorful signs and neatly packed shelves. The meat is prepped on the premises by in-store butchers. I bought stuffed pork chops, steaks, smoked Polish sausage and Italian sausage. I was glad I brought a cooler with me. The staff was super friendly and packaged my purchases up for travel. I had the pork chops for dinner and they were delicious. I also picked up Easter candy and a few staples that I needed. I saw locally produced honey and Amish made egg noodles. Prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in their private lot. No public restrooms are available.

I ended up leaving the market with green beans, corn on the cob, zucchini, kohlrabi, beets, red potatoes, and tomatoes. All of these goodies will last us through the week. I have never tried kohlrabi but the farmer that had it said they just peel the green off and slice it put a little salt on it and eat it so I thought I would give it a try! The fresh flowers and arrangements were absolutely beautiful as were so many items found in the local craftsmamen's booths. I will probably be right back here next weekend.
