My Husband and I enjoyed our two-night stay here at this "mod" looking but lovely hotel. Hotels in the main old town of Strasborg were booked, so we opted for the Villa Novarina on the outskirts of town. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which had two nice terraces attached, one which overlooked the sparklingly clean pool (not heated, but we swam on a warm day and it was great!). The large bathroom came with a large cave-like walk-in shower, (different! but fun). The room was decorated "Austin Powers-ish" 60s style, (again different! but somehow still managed to feel luxurious!). We had a car, and they offered a garage for a cost, but free overnight street parking was available so we grabbed that. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the heart of the tourist area (cathedral and shops). They do offer bikes, but I wished they had a shuttle...that would have made it perfect! The walk to town is nice, and feels safe thru an upscale neighborhood, but after a day of seeing the sights, the walk back was tiring, but still do-able. Lovely breakfast with hot and cold buffet items, and a nice spa area too. Overall, it's a very nice hotel with a VERY NICE staff that spoke enough English to answer any questions we had about the area. It would be more convenient to stay closer to the Strasbourg Cathedral, but we enjoyed this hotel very much and would stay there again! read more
