I felt like a local walking into my Tuscan home each night. We had two rooms which were next to each other and shared a common sitting area. The common area was a great place to read and play cards. There are homemade snacks all around for your enjoyment. If you want a bottle of wine, there are plenty all around the place. Our room was spacious and bed and pillows comfortable. The breakfast, oh the breakfast, it was amazing. Homemade cakes, fresh fruit, cooked to order eggs, cheeses, meats,.... There was so much food! It was outstanding. The staff was wonderful in helping us with reservations and such. Absolutely loved this place.

Choosing to stay at Il Tosco will take it from perfect to sublime. This property is a labor of love owned by a family and run by the same. You will quickly realize that as impossible as it seems, this project of theirs is more driven by their need for perfection than money. The breakfast that comes with the room is ridiculously elaborate and delicious. There are only 4 rooms, but every morning you walk into walls lined with food. Fruits and meats, cheeses and pastries, egg dishes, grilled vegetables cakes cakes and more cakes, breads, jams,jellies, juices, what ever kind of coffee or expresso or tea you wish, etc etc. Had to add the etcs because I know I'm leaving things out. The bedrooms are large and appointed with antiques while being also thoroughly modern. The bathroom was expansive, contemporary. The linens on the bed gorgeous. You will be made to feel at home and the gracious hospitality offered covered our every wish, without ever being obtrusive.

The couple that owns this vineyard is super sweet and the staff is really excellent. Everything, and I mean everything, was fantastic. We stayed one night but I wish it was more. The "light" dinner they prepared was one of the best meals on our recent trip, all was fresh, well prepared and the wine tasting to go with it was also very good. The room was a little slice of heaven and very quite at night which was a welcome change from the city. The views were stunning, I walked the vineyard early in the morning and loved it. The rooms are located in a 13th-century farmhouse, and come with terracotta floors and wooden beams on the ceilings. There are 12 rooms in the boutique hotel. The location of the hotel is very special since it is located in between Pienza and Montepulciano with marvelous Chianti scenery. The Santo Pietro's well-tended gardens feature several patio areas, furnished with tables and chairs. The pool is surrounded by padded-teak deck chairs, tables, and parasols. The public areas of the hotel is very relaxing, the small pool area is also helpful to rest under the Tuscan sun... Most of the service people are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is not bad with variety of freshly baked cakes, croissants and tarts. The dinner that we had at its restaurant was perfect. We had true Tuscan food with fresh vegetables, delicious meat with perfect wine. There are many people who only came for lunch and dinner. The rooms are very clean, the towels are soft and the amenities such as soap, shampoo and body lotion are special Tuscanian products. However there are some negative issues with the rooms. First, the hotel faces a busy traffic road and it was very hard to sleep since it is impossible to open the windows because of the noise. Although the rooms were nicely decorated, there was not a mirror in the room and there is only one chair. Therefore there is not a place to put your staff in the room. The other problem was the coverage of the wifi. It is not possible to use it in the rooms and pool area. Although it was a bit pricey we had very nice time at Tenuta Santo Pietro.

Has a nice pool with free ice cream stand along with many pool floaties (unicorns, flamingos). Free breakfast daily. After eating so much pasta every day during the trip I tend to eat a lighter breakfast and the fruit selection and espresso is Perfect and hits the spot. Everyday the owner, Alberto, would be at breakfast and ready to give me recommendations, directions, or make me reservations depending on what we were doing. Everything he suggested did not disappoint. We cannot wait to come back and stay again in the future. ****I highly recommend renting a car when visiting. This location.
