Compared to the north end, it is much more quiet and peaceful. The beaches on the south end appear to be safer due to the lack of, "Perigo" or danger signs which the north end has. With fewer people on the south beach, you won't have the same number of vendors as the north. The hotel itself is beach themed. It features a small outdoor pool and many indoor and outdoor lounge areas. It is very well maintained and the staff is incredibly friendly. There is food service and an outdoor bar. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas are available and the staff will gladly set them up for you. There are a few good restaurants in the area. The north end of the beach is a 15-20 minute walk away. There you will find shops, a supermarket and other eating establishments.

We were at the very top in a room overlooking the water/beach in beautiful Juqehy. No elevators, only stairs. Room was fine, nothing fancy. Our weather was outstanding in late November, zero complaints. Located about a 3 hour shuttle from São Paulo airport. This property, and Juqehy in general, is popular with families and couples, many from nearby São Paulo. As a solo traveler on weekend excursion while working in Brazil, perfect relaxed getaway. Staff is great and very patient with my poor attempts at Portuguese. David the front desk manager speaks english and is always super helpful. The star of this show is the beautiful beach, sound of the waves, and veranda. Even on a cloudy day, this beach is beautiful. This is a sub-tropical area, similar climate to Florida keys, so it doesn't get real cold, rarely less than 60 F. While I was here it was chilly. Weird looking at coco palms wearing a jacket. Restaurant is excellent. The dinner in the pics was 5 star. So fresh and tasty. I had one meal that was not to my taste, not to say it wasn't good. What I'm getting at is the restaurant has excellent and fresh food. Not everything agrees with individual taste.

The beach being just steps away was wonderful, and since we were facing the ocean, we had great views! The front office staff were great, and very helpful in letting us know when our shuttles were arriving, and other activity information over the course of our stay. The breakfast was really great, with lots of selections and everything was fresh and tasty. Even though we had lots of rain that weekend, we still enjoyed ourselves and we think the hotel is adorable!
