For my holiday in Pomerania I had choosen Villa Alfa because it was very close to the airport and on the website it said that there was a very good connection with the old town of Gdansk. All of that turned out to be true. What was kind of strange for us - Western-Europeans - was that the hotel was in the middle of a residential area between restored communist flat buildings and normal houses. Apart from that, it turned out to be a very good hotel. The hotel is run by two older people, but the man knows how to speak foreign languages very well. On top of that he will really do his very best to help you to organise your daytrips. He had for example been preparing a paper plan explaining us how to take the bus. The breakfast buffet was nice too, but the very thing that makes Villa Alfa a good choice, is the personal treatment that you get here. The other Polish hotels that I had been staying in were more like big companies where the staff was just doing the job, with more cold treatment as the result. Not here, where we were always warmly welcomed. I would really recommend friends that want to visit the area to book the hotel. read more
