First time being in that store, to me everything was way overpriced. A small bag of chocolates was $19.99. I bought the Kipley Cherry & Almond little pies, they were stale, I could not taste any almond in it and the cherry filling was non existent and dry. Bought a small jar of herring, which was not worth the price I paid for it. Will just buy my herring from my supermarket. Cheaper, more fresher and tastier. read more

I love the wide and fascinating variety of items at Viking House. The staff are great and I like the rewards program they offer. I buy gifts there and sometimes I just go in to browse the various foods, chocolates and snacks and items for various countries. Never boring and always fun to shop here. Supporting local Concord businesses is important to me and I will continue to spend my time and money at Viking House whenever I am can. When on main street cute little shop is a must, even if just for a browse. The salespeople are always very friendly and helpful but also give you your space if you just want to look around without any help or conversation. I love the selection of European goods that they stock and always find a hard time in choosing what I want for myself, or for someone else as this store is a great place to get gifts for people. I especially love checking out the candies and snacks that can be difficult to find in this area. read more

Thanks to Sue and Mariah from the Viking House​ for an amazing customer service experience yesterday. After realizing Capitol Craftsman & Romance Jewelers​ was closed for the day, I went into their store yesterday to buy a graduation gift for my two amazing MFT interns. I told Mariah about a specific thing I had been hoping to buy at Capitol Craftsman (hoping she could help me get something similar at Viking House. She asked Sue, who happens to be the owner of both stores (who knew?) if she could help me out. Sue went across the street and brought me back several items to choose from.
