The newspaper is what reminds me that there is other intelligent life on Earth besides myself. Some days when I'm sitting in bed, humming the tune to "Billy's Kid", I wonder if there's still humans out there or if all life has been exterminated yet. Then I receive my newspaper and to my delight, there they are! The inhabitants of Earth 2021, what scary and vile creatures they are. But yet, they are still human and thus, I am glad to see them. The agreement I have with them as a subscriber is that I pay them and they deliver the paper. I pay them on time, they keep my money, and don't deliver the paper. I have been asking for a prorated refund, as I paid for a whole year, but have not received one. I have called the circulation manager and left voicemail, but have not received a call back.
